PLEASE LEAVE YOUR OPINIONS

I think it would be a good idea to recruit active members through contests. Some ideas anybody? I have some ideas...

+ Graphics
--Make a Postcard
--Magazine Cover
--CD Cover
--Open Battle
--Affliate Banner, Icon, and Blinky Contest
--Silhouette Advertisement {Like the iPod ads, but more unique for different products/existing or fake}
--Or maybe something like those blending sites, but just on a forum

+ Writing/Fanfic
--Fake Article Contest
--Scenario Contest
--Best TV show/Movie cast {Like plan out a TV show/Movie, with actors/singers/actresses, but make it really fit into it, with the plot and everything}

+ Scavenger Hunt
--Not sure, but something like the one they have at Junior;Source, but not exactly like it? Something fun that requires the activeness of members

+ Miscellanious
--Maybe make some threads where members have to post up graphics, pictures, lyrics, and whoever contributes the most, including the factor of non-repeating pictures, gets a member title change or something.
--Social Contests, like uhljjang contests. Something like the best couple contest we had at DBShinGi. Something unique though :]


These are really off the top of my head, but these are just some ideas ^^

Like at Shinhwa Changjo, I think it would be a good idea to have a rating system instead of warning system. There could be another member group where they have more privileges also. There's a function in the Admin panel where you change it, so yeah. The members will be more motivated to contribute and such.

And have certain member titles where there can be "Most Active/Helpful/Creative" etc. depending on how the member is doing to help out around the forum. Because we need more active members, not just admins and mods >D

i wouldn't mind trying out most of those activities =D what does everyone else think? and yes i do agree that we need more active "members" not including our wonderful admin and staff lolz.

hey that's cool! Yeah I think to make people motivated to actually join these contests as well... the prize has to be worth while for them. For mods and admin we do things just to help the forum along, but for normal members... I don't know what will motivate them lol but those are AWESOME ideas! So fun too!

Oh yeah, and at Bellemode, they have this trading card thing where people can trade in 20 posts for a card, which they can cash those cards in for member title changes, etc...so if someone wants 3 'cards', the admin takes away 60 posts, and gives 3 cards to trade with other people or to cash in :] Something continuous that will make the members active ^^
