Intermittent Connection Issues W/ PLDT, I dunno where to post this... hahaha.

Okay, I know na sa MyRO issues ang supposed to be nandito, pero I was kind of hoping you guys can help...

Has anyone been having intermittent connection issues with PLDT?

Intermittent meaning DC/Recon/DC/Recon/DC/Recon for the whole day...

Hindi na ako makalaro ng MyRO dahil dito. Naaasar talo na nga ako eh. I've called PLDT's tech support. They fixed the conduit, checked the cords, etc., kaso ganun pa rin. I wasn't around during the time na inaayos nila (I was at work). Pero ayun, sabi nila okay naman daw.

The cords are fine naman, I checked the inside of my PC, wala namang maluwang na parts.

I am seriously considering na ipa-disconnect na lang to at maghanap ng mas matinong ISP provider, pero I need to see if I can fix this before I resort to drastic measures.

Anyway, any ideas as to how I can probably fix this?

BTW, kung sa kaling I need to change to a new ISP provider, do you guys have any suggestions? Antipolo area po sana, with decent technical service and may 3mbps na bundle/promo.

Hope you guys can help. Coz I am desperately in need of assistance.

I had that problem before. My place is far away from the nearest network center of PLDT thus giving me very intermetent connections. I just transfered hosts to Smart Bro. PLDt was a better choice (better ping, better bandwith) but having smart is better than unreliable connections. (No no, our server is not hosted with me, we are hosted at USA)

Call your ISP, maybe they can send someone to inspect the lines again. There is no problem with the server. The problem lies with your net in your particular area.

Btw, how long do you play before you get disconnected? And how long are you out everytime?

@Admin - The times when I get disconnected is erratic. Sometimes I can only play for 15 minutes before getting disconnected. Sometimes, 30 minutes. After that, *boink!*, connection is gone. I wait and it'll come back after 10 minutes, then it'll be gone again after 5 minutes of playing. So on and so forth. It's really hard. ~_~

It ruins the whole gaming experience. Honestly.

I'm at work right now, since the connection here is slightly stable. But once I get home I'll be sure to post my IP here.
