Jewels & Stuff. Chaos Jewel, Soul Jewel, Bless Jewel, Box of Luck, Box of Kundun, Star.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Experience Bar The yellow bar across the bottom of your screen above where your potions appear represents 10% of the total experience needed to level up for any given level.
To increase your characters level by 1 you must fill this bar 10 times. The number to the right of the bar indicates how many times it has been filled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keyboard Assignments: Potions & Teleports There are 3 keys available that can be assigned to hp/mp potions, poison antidotes or townteleports. They are Q, W & E.
By default Q is assigned to HP potions, W is assigned to MP potions and E is assigned to Poison antidote.
To reassign the keys, for example put a townteleport on the E key:
Open your inventory and place your mouse pointer on a townteleport. Now press CTRL and E together. A townteleport image should appear on the QWE bar at the bottom. Press E to use it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keyboard Assignments: Skills You can assign different skills to the keys 1-9.
Press the spell button at the bottom middle of your screen and your available spells will appear above it.
Place your mouse pointer on a skill then press CTRL and 1. Now, every time you press the 1 key, that skill will become the selected one. You can do the same for keys 1-9.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chat Macros If you need to type in the same message repeatedly, for example when you are trying to sell an item in town, you can use a macro.
Example, type:
/1 Selling bronze boots +5+12
press Enter
To use the macro press ALT and 1.
You can do the same for /1 through to /9.
You can insert the # symbol into your macro to have your message appear above your head for around 3 times the normal time but it will not appear in the normal chat area. e.g. /1 #Selling bronze boots +5+12
Macros you create will be kept when you switch between characters or servers but they will be lost if you exit the game.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emoticons. List compiled by: 'Eviltongs' You must type them exactly the way that is displayed here. Typing / before the command will hide the word from the chat window and only show the action
_____TEXT_______::::__ACTION__ ^^ Haha Laugh ; Sorry Head scratch Cross arms beat it Great Raises both arms Bye Wave Cold hurts Rubs arms Come Beckon someone Cry T_T Sad Self explanatory Defeated Doesn't work don't Never "No" gesture Good Nice Wow Clap Hello Thanks Bow (greeting) OK Arm pump Respect Kneel Rush Lead your men forward Sir Salute That Points Victory Win Victory pose
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chat Methods (whisper/party/guild) To send someone a private message ingame:
If the person you want to PM has recently typed and is still visible in your chat window. press Enter and then right click on the persons name in the chat area top left of the screen. Now just type your message and press enter. You can scroll back through the chat by using the Page Up and Page Down keys.
If their name is not in the chat area, press Enter then press Tab to move the curser across to the Name box on the right of the chat bar. Type the persons name into that box and press Tab to move the curser back to the main chat box. Type in your message and press Enter again.
Entering names is case sensitive so make sure you enter it exactly as it is.
You can store several names to recall them later:
When you tab across to the name box use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the slots available for storing names in. The list is wiped when you exit the game.
To talk in Party chat put the ~ symbol before your message.
To talk in Guild chat put the @ symbol before your message.
If you place a # symbol in front of a normal open chat message, the message will remain above your head for around 3 times as long as normal and it will not apear in the chat area top left.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Running To run, you must wear level 5 or higher boots. All level 5+ boots have the running option.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

e.g. to warp to Davias, where ever you might be, type:
/Warp Davias
Lvl requirements and costs to Warp:
World Name Lvl to enter Lvl to enter by Cost in Zen on foot Warping Lorencia 10 50 2000 Noria 10 50 2000 Davias 15 50 2000 Dungeon 20 50 2000 Losttower 80 90 5000 Losttower3 80 110 5000

Here's some additional information that may help players who are either new to Mu or are still getting used to it. Jewel of Creation: I will correct this if it turns out I am wrong, but as far as I know on this version of Mu, 1.02d, eating Fruit created by Jewels of Creation is bugged, so, for the time being (unless I am wrong), the best use for Jewels of Creation would be to sell them to a NPC(non-player character) Shop, since you will get 10,000,000 zen for each Jewel of Creation.Quick guide for upgrading items at the Chaos Goblin: +10 Requires: 1 Bless, 1 Soul, 1 Chaos +11 Requires: 2 Bless, 2 Soul, 1 Chaos +12 Requires: 3 Bless, 3 Soul, 1 Chaos +13 Requires: 4 Bless, 4 Soul, 1 Chaos +14 Requires: 5 Bless, 5 Soul, 1 Chaos +15 Requires: 6 Bless, 6 Soul, 1 Chaos Some quick numbers, total jewel amounts required to upgrade an item to a particular defense bonus level (+11, +13, +15): To upgrade an item to +11 all at once, you will need: 3 Bless, 3 Soul, 2 Chaos To upgrade an item to +13 all at once, you will need: 10 Bless, 10 Soul, 4 Chaos To upgrade an item to +15 all at once, you will need: 21 Bless, 21 Soul, 6 Chaos I don't know the rates, unfortunatly, though the server info thread ( here) states that Chaos Machine rates are higher than normal. This is good especially when it comes to +15 items...the default rates are very low. Some basic information on Wing creation: (Keep in mind this is not a good "method" to create wings, nor is it recommended, merely what is required.) To create 1st stage wings (Angel, Fairy, Devil): You will need one (1) Chaos weapon (Chaos Dragon Axe, Chaos Lightning Staff, Chaos Nature Bow) at +4+4 or higher, 1 jewel of chaos. A +4+4 Chaos weapon and a Jewel of Chaos will result in a VERY low success rate. Actually proceeding with these basic instructions is STRONGLY discouraged. To create 2nd stage wings (Dragon, Spirit, Soul, Dark): You will need one (1) 1st stage wing (Angel, Fairy, or Devil), 1 Jewel of Chaos, and 1 Lock's Feather/Blue Feather. Proceeding from here with +0+0 wings and just a chaos will result in an EXTREMLY low success rate, as such it is strongly discouraged. How to raise the success rate (%) of 1st and 2nd stage wing creation: 1st stage: Use a better Chaos weapon (+9+16 will give you 100% success rate alone), use shiney junk from hearts and medals (especially +11 items, and especially higher end items...Example: Dragon is a better choice than Leather, +7 Dragon will add more % than +11 Leather.). 2nd stage: Use better 1st stage wings (+9+16 will yield a relatively high success rate.) Keep in mind that 2nd stage success rate can only go as high as 90%. Additionally, you may use +4 or higher Excellent items to raise the success rate, though they will not raise it as much as using better wings will. Well, at the moment I can't think of anything else. Hopefully what I've got here will help people who need it. Good hunting out there!

Hmm, I think I have a little information to share aswell First, I'll point out a couple of typos in your post Heimdall, so you can correct it without confusing people Horn of Dinorant: Similar to the Horn of Uniria, you can wear this item when you are level 110 (I think). It has 255hp, and will dissappear when its' hp reaches 0. It has wings on it, and so will let you go to Icarus without having any wings equipped. It can be equipped in the slot above the left hand, and left of the head (on the inventory screen), and it has the mixed ability of the Angel and the Satan (Imp) in that it increased the damage you do, and reduces the damage you take, (unsure of the %age of each, but hopefully someone can post to let us know). To get a Dinorant you have to make it in the Chaos Machine. It can be made by putting 10 Horns of Uniria in the Chaos Machine, with a Jewel of Chaos, (click on the "Regular Combination" selection). Dinorants have many 'special' options, which include "Raid Skill", X% damage transferred as Life, +Increased speed, and I think there may be a few more, but I'm not totally sure. The "Raid Skill" is a ranged attack, and is only usable by Dark Knights and Blade Knights. Jewel of Life: This jewel, when dropped onto an item, has a chance to increase the option of the item by 1. Example: If you have Guardian Armor +5 +8, and use a Jewel of Life on it, you have a chance to increase it to Guardian Armor +5 +12. If it fails, it will make it Guardian Armor +5 +0, (but the +0 won't show, it will just be +5). Luck does NOT affect this Jewels' success rate. Jewels of Creation sell for 12,000,000 zen, not 10,000,000. (Or it has on the other servers I have played on, don't know if it's the same as in this server, being unable to connect and all :S) | QUOTE | | To create 1st stage wings (Angel, Fairy, Devil): You will need one (1) Chaos weapon (Chaos Dragon Axe, Chaos Lightning Sword, Chaos Nature Bow) at +4+4 or higher, 1 jewel of chaos. A +4+4 Chaos weapon and a Jewel of Chaos will result in a VERY low success rate. |
I think you mean Chaos Lightning Staff here, unless they added a new weapon When making Chaos weapons, if you can get junk from hearts (as Heimdall said), items with the "+Luck" option will raise the success % more than an item without luck. The same goes for making wings, and a 1st stage set of wings (any of the 3) that is +7+12+Luck will give you 90% without the need to add any Excellent items to boost the success rate. If you don't have any 1st stage wings that are +7+12+Luck, but have a few spare excellent items you don't mind losing, then when they are +4 +option, (and the excellent option alone counts, it doesn't have to be +4 +4. eg: If you have an excellent Plate Shield +4 +40% increased zen, then this will work, as the "+40% increased zen" option counts as the option needed). When you have an excellent item +4 +option, then adding Jewels of Life will add more success chance (%), than increasing the item to +5, or +6. However, if you have extra jewels you don't mind using, the better the item is, the more % it will add. Also, this is just something I do personally, if you have 1st stage wings, but want some 2nd stage wings, then make some more 1st stage wings. That way, if you fail at making the 2nd stage wings you want, (say you want Wings of Soul, but make Wings of Spirit), then you still have wings to wear Oh, and the emote: "Hustle" (without the " " around the word) is... Well. It's just great fun!! I'm not sure if it works in this server, but I know it did in the other 1.02d server I was on previously. It's hilarious, and makes me laugh when I see it That's all I can think of, but post if you think I have missed anything out, or have posted wrongly. Hope this information helps someone, and sorry to nit-pick Heimdall, it's a habit Regards and good luck,

Fixed the typo. Thanks. XD And I don't think we need more people running around spamming "Hustle elf" but hey, whatever floats your boat. ^^ You also forgot about the emote come on ....I forgot if it's Come on or come on, but one is the old one, other is the newer one with a badass looking taunt movement. Now all I need is a pair of deadly looking shades and a black duster. I'd also like to note that the Dinorant moves a little faster than a player running, and a little faster than wings or a cape (Except for the Blade Knight's Dragon Wings, which are about the same speed, slightly faster.) Also, in this version, 1.02d, the Fenrir mount can be healed by removing it, and dropping a jewel of bless onto it. Nice to know. A bit of info about Fenrirs: -There are three colors, Red (basic Fenrir), Blue (defense Fenrir, absorbs 10% of incoming damage), and Black (offense Fenrir, increases your damage by 10%). -Fenrirs can run faster than players, and faster than wings. (Possibly faster than Dragon Wings even, though this is unverified.) As well, its running speed seems to be the same as the Dark Lord's Dark Horse. A bit of info for Dark Lords: -The Dark Horse is faster than wings. It will increase your defense, and absorb some damage for you. It will not die, and it will increase your range by 2 units. -To create a Cape of Lord, you need to follow the same process to create 2nd stage wings, but you need a Crest of Monarch instead of a Loch's Feather/Blue Feather. -Your Dark Raven now functions (mostly) as it should. To change its behavior, either click your skill button to bring up your skill bar, click the Dark Raven behavior mode you want, then right click once to set it, or press Shift + 1 ~ 4 to select the mode you want, and right click. All behavior modes work as they should. -The Dark Raven's damage rises as it gains levels. It gains levels as you gain levels. Its damage does not go up as you increase any of your stats. It will attack faster as it gains levels. Its level will reset when you reset. -For those new to this version, all skills work.

Happy to help Heim Hmm. **thinks if there's any more info I can spam... I mean add ** The Fenrir mounts work off the "base attribute" of each character. So if you were a DK/BK, and were riding a Fenrir, then you'd add to Strength to increase the damage that the Fenrir does with it's skill. With DW/SM, you'd add to energy, same with Dark Lords. With Elves it seems to take it's damage from agility, even if you intend to be energy, and with MGs it seems to take it's damage from your energy attribute. Although, to be honest, I haven't made a strength MG to see if it increases your damage that way. I think that pretty much covers everything... but no doubt I'll add (spam ) more if I remember it. Regards,

Well, MGs should add energy, early on, anyway...adding strength mainly at first...is well, not optimal, in my opinion. But this is my opinion only. And I don't think it's really related to a stat, just related to your "damage"...think of it like any other skill, instead of a weapon or learned skill, it's on a mount, but it's the same thing. All it does is take your damage and add a modifier if appropriate (for MG BK and DL), and calculate it from your base damage. I assume it takes whatever's higher, in the case of a energy MG or SM (spell or physical damage)...and for a SM I assume it takes some form of raw number, which spells modify. Or I could be wrong.
