its still at the engine builders hah, were both too lazy and never get the chance to catch up with each other!

I'm just finishing up a mk2 polo g40 turbo build and once thats done, the mk1 is coming up to the unit to get the body prepped for a spray, and the engine is finally getting built up!

hoping to have it done by the end of the year at the latest, as its been far too long now!

I'm very pleased on how they've turned out (albeit no fingers/prints loads of swearing  )
They still need "tweaking" and are not up to the standards of a professional shop,
but for a 1st time in a back yard workshop I'm chuffed ;)

And! they look fantastic when the suns out B)

dude how much are these??

interested in a set for my Mk2 racecar

plus you need to sort some stickers out dude

Aha, Monsieur series 2, how are you old bean?

Thats a pic from the past, I can do lighter and cheaper bumpers in a carbon look effect, basically its 2x2 twill weave but looks just like carbon Fibre.

I'll have to do a sample and post it up, pretty effective tho' ;)

Luke thats a good idea, i've thought about doing that to some chrome effect plastic parts that are now unobtainable like the rear window chrome trim- saw somebody do it on a mk1 passat, never considered the bumpers though

Just wondering though Rob, would is it possible to incorporate some sort of chrome effect into/under the resin, a bit like you done with the dogtooth fabric here-
