not sure about the filter mate.
I think the only de-badged grill you could get for the mk1 was a kamei one from back in the day. Quite rare I think now. Can you not just the badge off? I know you can with the early grills not so sure with the later ones though. btw welcome along and get some piccies up! ;) |

Sounds likle it should be fun!
We don't really have controversial stuff mate. do what you want and enjoy it that's the motto around here. No real 'purests' like you can get on some of the golf scenes. If you can make it fit fair play can't wait to see the work. ;) |

Build thread!!
The later style grilles have a specific badge holder so you can't just whip the badge off to make a badgeless one - you'd need to cut 'n 'shut a couple to make you own. Welcome aboard shipmate! :) Cheers, Chris. |

It is an early one mate just done it now. I will get some pics up later when it was standard. Got a good deal to for it with 12 months mot. Swapped it for a mk1 golf cab without headlights wheels engine... Well almost a shell. The only thing wrong with it is the paint is faded but i like it that way tbh. It suits the look im going for. Its gonna be a mix of old and new ratted and pimp. Basically the inside the rear bench is going and will be up for grabs rear roll cage painted in Rust paintwith wood panelled floor. Vtec with bike carbs slammed and 13s bandedwooden centre caps
