Is it common to find memory scanning easier than scanning for a consiously accessed thought? I'v always found it such to a very large degree, and think it may make sense taking into consideration that likely memories take up more 'space' in the mind as compared to consiously accessed thoughts. Would be insterested in anyones view on this.

I know when I was more in the psionic swing of things and worked with telepathy and what not, it definitely was for me. Hence why I found it very easy to convinvingly BS psychic readings once upon a time with not a lick of precog. Just looked at some memories, etc. (It's actually a REALLY good way to RV a location if you aren't good at RVing) and then made some snippets based on that past stuff, haha. I'd also just look into someone's past as practice. |

For me, it looks like the animate thoughts are more energetic, and the memories are more of a static structure. I find it easier to just look at one current intent, generally, than it would be to try to sift through a whole bunch of old memories.
Memories usually do take up more space I think... yeah... and they are more like constructs, while the animate thought/will is more concentrated/bright, more like a fluid or bolt. If I'm going to scan a memory or thought, in a more accurate way, I'll usually pour a sensitive, living energy into the area/head/mind, which senses out its environment. Or, to scan emotions fast, I absorb a tiny amount of the raw emotion to feel it. |
