When I try to move something psychkinetically it tends to have mixed results for me. sometimes it wobbles only minorly, a pin, sometimes it glides across the surface, a cat toy, and sometimes it moves in a way opposite to my direction in small motions that are barely knoticable, a plastic bottle.
I know I should probably use a psi wheel but I prefer to improvise to see what I can do, and so far the results haven't been that bad, the objects moved, albeit minorly and it didn't suffer any real ill effects. Any thoughts? |

Well...
You could try asking it to move left for no, right for yes, and start asking it all sorts of questions. If this is your sub-conscious, it may [in some ways] have "a mind of its own", due to how limited and unnatural egoic consciousness tends to become, and the bodily reactions to it are also unusual. |

I'm glad someone is breaking away from the 'norm' of psi wheel as a psychokinetic practice aid, as they can very easily give misleading results. I've found that psychokinetic action is easier achieved 'offhand', instead of intense hours of concentration. That being said, it makes sitting down and polishing the skill that way rather difficult if not impossible. I guess one just has to find something that works well for them.
I think it's neat that you're improvising as to the object, makes it easier to just decide "Hey, I think I'll practice a bit," I'd think. Is that true, do you find yourself practicing more often than you think you would if you just used a psiwheel or pen rolling? -------------------- I must not fear.

Actually yeah, I generally practice psionics when I'm bored and alone, I tend to get bored easily so I end up practicing a lot. This includes at work where I wouldn't have a psi-wheel handy.
Oddly enough I've practiced a lot of things when I got bored so that might be part of the reason I tend to learn so quickly. |
