You wouldn't believe how close this is to one of Greece's most famous artists' style! I'll try to find some online and show you! It looks a lot like his work! <lol>

omg rogue, you are certainly talented blink.gif as much as i like your color pieces, your pencil work is more advanced imo. especially your hulk, the 'ripping' muscles and the lighting on the pants. i love also your wolvie sketch, again the shadings over different parts of his body. 29_3_3%5B1%5D.gif

what did you use for colors? markers? they look clean and sharp. i remember you telling us that someone was telling you that you couldn't draw. that's far from the truth. i may not be able to draw myself, but i work with professional artists (commercial artists) pretty much everyday, and far as i can tell you have talent. it's that obvious. keep on drawing and keep on posting them on here, rogue. cheers.gif

Thanks KC

To colour I used letraset Pro Markers, they great markers to use as they don't leave your colouring all patchy like some do. I used to sketch them first then copy them without as much detail so I could colour. I'll post the original sketches if I can find them.

yea, that's what i noticed. no smudges inherent in marker work. this is something i should check out. yea, do post more, even the original sketches when you find them. i also notice that you did try to use the markers for cap's muscle tones, unfortunately the contrast isn't that obvious. as you indicated earlier, it could be because of your scanner.

rogue, do you mind if i try to color your hulk sketch using digital colors? i read that most colorists today use digital means to render b/w comics pages, after pencilers / inkers have done their work. just felt like trying a certain technique out. don't worry, i'd only do it if you gave me the go-ahead. 7up.gif

rogue, this is what i've got so far. what do you think of the green? is it too leafy green? ymthinking.gif

i'll be using your pencils to 'strengthen' the outline and 'deepen' the shadows later, on top of the colors. yep, i'm using layers. i'm just trying to get the colors right at this moment.

the tattered clothing that you drew on his shirt and pants are so well done, i have difficulty capturing the same effect. now i know why marvel also hires inkers after pencilers ... it's tough skipping a phase pick.gif
