in early 1984 the world was show the starving children of africa,, The pop music scene, made a album "band aid" for a charity relief effort. in early 1985 the pop music movement made a 2nd album and snubed all metal artist again (except sammy hagar) then Ronnie james dio had enough and made "Hear N aid" with a all metal cast in 1985 the best metal collage song was released "were stars" off the album Hear n aid. read this cast of vocalist and musicians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hear_'n_Aid  band that couldn't make it like scorpions, motorhead, and rush lent thier tracks to this album as well.
