Last week we heard Fantastic Four movie rumors on the possibility of Adrien Brody or Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Mr. Fantastic along with Amber Heard as Invisible Woman and Kevin Pennington as Human Torch (I guess Alice Eve is being rumored as Sue Storm as well). I can't decide if the latest rumors is starting to make the casting interesting or just plain silly.
According to ComicBookMovie, it's now the Thing's turn to be possibly cast. A mysterious studio source has informed them that 20th Century Fox is "very interested" in getting Bruce Willis to voice their "completely CG Thing" as well as stand in for a couple of plain Ben Grimm scenes. To add to the speculation, it appears that Willis isn't the only one possibly being considered for the Thing. Fused Film also threw in Kiefer Sutherland's name. Now I'm trying to envision Jack Bauer yelling "It's Clobbering Time! Get on the floor now!" |

what is a matter with Michael Chiklis?
as "The Thing" I thought his voice was great as ben grimm. But for a voice over I think Ron pearlman would be good here. |

completely CG Thing makes for a terrible terrible cinema. Remember the Eric Bana hulk? We might as well just watch a cartoon character interacting with real human beings. i thought the costume they had for Chilkis was great. Of course we know it isn't real, it's a movie. But it didn't look fake or anything, when watching the movie. Not like it is screaming out at us or anything.
