New Story Written By Heartburn?, Question to fan fic writers!

I had this idea of writing a story very similar to Irredeemable Ant-Man but a bit different. I'm not going to create the thread on Marvel until I hear from some experts. The story is going to be called Hornet (Yeah, I know there was a Hornet back in the Slingers but I thought I would take up the mantle). I'm not going to say too much but here is a link to the picture of Hornet that I just worked on today.

Yes, he looks like Ant-Man but different colors. I replaced the red with purple, the silver with yellow and I made the blue a bit.... different.

Help would be appreciated.

P.S. - Don't try to bring me down or make fun of my idea. I just thought of this yesterday!

the idea is a good one, heartburn. and a hornet is deadlier than an ant, and can fly. all you need is a neat origin.

the design is a tad too close. maybe adding wings would help. also blacken the 'eyes' like so:

Yeah, when it comes to the wings I already had an idea that they would spring out of his back and would be able to glide through the air instead of having a jet pack or something.

I'll change the colors to yellow and black if that helps.

I was thinking of having the stingers on the forearms and they will be retractable. I was also thinking that he could fire a bit of electricity from them too.

And I use Hero Machine TOO much but I'll give it a shot....again.

yea, in the arms would be most obvious. it shouldn't be too close to wolvie's claw position or spidey's stinger. maybe like this but kinda close to spidey's ...

what about his origin, heartburn? how did he get his powers?

How about he steals a hornet suit from SHIELD and goes on the run, eventually facing WWH before getting captured? Why does this sound familiar?

I had this idea months ago so I SHOULD know what I'm doing.

This Skrull wasn't like any other Skrull, you know? After his throne world was destroyed by Galactus, he was the first Skrull to be sent to Earth to spy on the heroes. His mission is to spy on the humans and stay in the shadows until the time was right but this Skrull.... is kind of a screw up.

When Doug (That's right, his name is Doug in human language. His real name is Krt'Lin though) lands on Earth be begins to study crazy human stuff like beer. He might even pop up into other stories and you wouldn't know it because he could shape shift into anyone. Doug must ask himself "While doing my mission...can't I have a little bit of fun?"

I can't say much right now but you should get a point from this.
