To post a pic in a thread or your sig is very simple. There is a IMG button underneath the 'Font' drop down window. Click that box and a small window will appear named 'Explorer User Prompt'. Enter the http address and click 'OK'. The address will then appear in the post box with the IMG tags attached on each side. The image you wish to use must be in a web album or hosted on another site for you to use the IMG tags. Please use the IMG codes rather than attaching images to your posts. Attachments take up space and we are limited to only 16MB on this site. Any questions feel free to PM me.

i'm still a little confused. is the img button under the font drop down box for an avatar on the left of our posts, or is it just for a picture in one of our posts?

Just for a picture on posts...for avatars you have to go to your controls and choose edit avatar. There you insert the http address where the pic is originating from (example:photobucket) |

invisionfree doesn't allow posting of dynamic pages due to security reasons. some dynamic image urls can contain harmful scripts. webcomic and art images on essentialwebcomics.com provide bbcodes that supports dynamic urls. for example:
if you try to post that, you'll see the following error message:
this can be rectified by using the HTML tags and 'img src' to replace the IMG tags, as follows:
take careful note of the opening and closing <> and the quotation marks. |
