IRONHAND's work on The Flea has been very inspiring for me lately, and I'm excited to get to draw a few pages in the upcoming Annual! I've been wanting to do some fanart for a while, and posted a quick sketch that I had recently, but I wanted to start on a more 'finished' pic....

Alright -sorry for my lack of posts, guys! I've secretly been stalking you all & following your webcomic development -can't wait to see what everyone does this year! I'm really enjoying this site -thanks, IRONHAND! =)
Once I figure out where to post the actual comic on here, I'll set it up -but this is the webcomic I'm currently working on: RELIK It's a character created by David Brett-Andrews & Dan Butcher, and you can read the original miniseries here: Retake anyway, I got the gig after doing this page for a community comic called Heroes Alliance over on Drunkduck:  that was the first page I'd ever digitally inked/colored/lettered -back at the beginning of 2010... after signing on, I did a couple of sketches and filler pieces like this rogues gallery preview:  then the comic started:    Then LIFE got in the way -new jobs, NO time for comicking -someone else took over for me..... only nothing got done -flash forward to December 2010 -I sign a new contract that leads me back to an awesome job that'll allow for more time to draw & enjoy life with my wife & friends.... Dave tells me the artist(s) that took over Relik aren't getting anything done, I sign on to finish issues 1 & 2 =) To speed up the process, I go for a FULL DIGITAL approach -I'm learning and there's a definite change in style (so I'll probably go back and redo the first pages) but here's the new pages:   hope you all enjoy it -I'll post some other pages on here in the near future from other projects like Heroes Alliance, Dr. Destiny, my Flea annual pages (not done yet -but soon!).... Thanks for the kind words and support from my previous post -you really know how to welcome an old comic wannabe =) All the best to you and yours in all you do! |

 any time you want to draw a webcomic here, drop us a pm. we are building a webcomic portal right now (still under construction), would love to showcase your artwork there when it's ready. would love to interview you when the time comes. we can easily set up an area here for you for the above webcomic if you want. we just need your go-ahead. |

we'll be opening a new section for josh's art later today, so he can have as many art threads in his own section. we'll also be providing you with access to the webcomic development section where most collaborations are done. will pm you the information. |
