OK....is it just me or did Pak's ability to tell a great story disappear overnight....Skaar has not impressed me to date....

At some point in this comic I missed where it went from being Skaar,Son of Hulk to just Son of Hulk.I obviously missed an issue where Skaar was taken out of the equation and the focus then went onto this Hiro-Kala character.I dig the artwork by Andres Guinaldo with his serious attention to background detail(planet falling apart around everyone in a simple sketchy sort of way) and how the story taken over by Paul Jenkins is reminiscent of comics of the '80's in putting boxed thought comments in a lot of the different panels.Kinda cool how Hiro-Kala "poisoned" Galactus as payback for destroying Hiro-Kala's homeworld.Especially when he was commisioned by Galactus to be one of his new Heralds to find Galactus his next & new junkie fix for the "Old Power" planets.I lost some of the story by missing an issue here and there but have come to like this comic as an almost guilty pleasure.I like Galactus and alien stuff,so in combination with the artwork and my pure curiosty as to where this will lead,I'm sticking by it.

It was cancelled...I believe they will tell the story in Hulk...

I'm having mixed emotions on Skaar, its his composition alone that has me interested, that being, his bloodline..Someone with HULK's and Caiera's power-set is just to appealing not to watch and SURPRISING enough, they've been RESERVED with his feats, and kept him clear of the RULK Like explosion onto the scene.. Although I firmly believe his showing against Juggernaut is Blasphemous... But I won't go there...not yet anyway. |
