| Hi, I'm new to these boards and I'm a huge fan of Beast from the X-Men, as well as being a fan of the X-Men in general. So I thought I would post some of my work here. If you'd like to see more stuff, you can check out my DA page:
Grey Beast from Amazing Adventures #11 (1972):
Beast from his short-lived pro-wresting career (X-Men #8, 1964):
Hank, Bobby and Warren hamming it up for the camera:
This is the romantic pairing I've wanted to see for over 20 years now, so I'm thrilled that it's at least being explored in All-New X-Men: Hank McCoy and Jean Grey:
My "variant" cover for X-Men #47:
Beast in his red and blue X-Men costume (this is actually my favorite of all his costumes):
And finally, I originally started this drawing to use as a base for trying out a few costume redesign ideas, but then the blue-hair gag came to me and I couldn't help myself:
I've also recently self-published a comic book featuring my own character, Stump. Here is the cover for that book:

|Very stunning, NM! I'm envious My favorite is probably the grey hairy beast at top, and then the Stump cover.|

All this time I saw you on the marvel forums and I never knew you were an artist Rosario (and a fantastic one at that).

It might be a good idea to get a subforum. Especially since I can't seem to figure out where this thread ended up.
As for the comic project, I'll take a look at it. I'm still trying to find my way around this new forum, so if you could post a link to the details of the project, I'd appreciate it.
Anyways, thanks everyone! I appreciate the comments.

The comic project is sorta scattered all over the place. We have a couple of groups on facebook where art and writing developments can be posted. And we have a forum here on the Tavern where comic projects began, but many of them haven't been used in years. The comic Project has been a pet project around here for a long long time. But many of the stories didn't get very far.
As is, we've got maybe 6 or 7 stories right now that are being worked on (by different writers and artists) and they are all coming along at different paces.

|Thanks for the feedback everybody, I really do appreciate it.|

|You have a really good grasp of anatomy. You can draw muscles way better than I can.|
|Posted by: NMRosario Oct 25 2013, 07:32 PM|
That's just years and years of observation and practice. I've been drawing for about 25 years now and studying human anatomy for almost the same amount of time. Anyways, thanks!

| Astoundingly good artwork! Someone should hire you!
Me? I'm so bad at drawing I can barely draw a conclusion.

|Terrific work Mr. Rosario! BTW, where is the comic project issues? There are so many talented writers and artists at the Tavern and I'd like to read them..|

|Love all of it!|

| A new one to add:
This is how I imagine any one-on-one battle between Beast and Cyclops ending. Beast is faster, stronger, has better reflexes and is much smarter than Cyclops. So unless Scott Summers just gets a lucky shot in, there really isn't much of a contest.

|Another great picture, NMR!|

Yep, my Facebook page is here:
New one. Kind of large, but I spent several days on the detail work for this one, so I wanted to make sure it was as visible as possible:

|Great detail. Good work!|

| Beast in his current All-New X-Men costume:
I love this costume, but it was way more complex than I anticipated. I must have revised the drawing ten times or more because I kept finding minor details that I'd gotten wrong.

| I've been playing around with cover remakes for early Silver Age X-Men comics. Here are the first two I've done and I have ideas for a few more:
The idea was to be as weird and off-the-wall as possible and really play off of the "strangest superheroes of all" tagline. But I also didn't want to go too weird, so I'm trying to make sure that each cover is related to events that actually take place within the issue.
|Posted by: Big Thunder! Aug 16 2014, 06:35 AM|
|Those covers are awesome!|
|Posted by: Doc Omega Aug 16 2014, 06:46 AM|
|I'm very impressed|

|NMR hasn't posted in a while, but I'm still eager to see more of his work!|
