This is y most recent sketch. Been on a bit of a Batman binge with the release of Batman: Arkham Asyum coming soon. Two-Face has always been my favourite villain. I've always seen him as this really tragic character angry at the world so I thought I'd give him more of a snarl

This was my second attempt at watercolour in 5 years. The first was crap.

People in my neighbourhood should really start closing their curtains. Anybody could look in

these are great sketches, elliot. they feel like pre-animation cell illustrations ...

and you have different styles. the images contrast greatly in technique and execution.

Hey,I like your stuff,Elliot.

Wow, awesome, so may cool aspects about each one! Color one has a really nice stylized look! The couples embrace is really nice and soft, and the last one has a nice delicate but ornate feel.

NICE! :lollol:

Just experimenting with a new more simple, cartoony style for an idea I have

These are two characters from that very idea. Meet two of the members of Psychopomp.

Eric Ghiestmann. Lead Vocals and Intrumentalist of the band. He also serves as the main character of the story. He has a droopy left eyelid as a tribute to Thom Yorke, leadsinger from Radiohead. He was also partly based on my boss, Chris Martin from Coldplay and Travis frontman Fran Healy.

Simon Javiar. Bassist and backing vocals for the indie band Pyschopomp. Along with a few notable bassists like Paul McCartney, Simon was also partly based on myself. In alot of ways he's my dream version of myself. Simon suffers from insomnia. Yes, he was originally going to be called Nate but I like the sound of Simon better.

[thinking] you are an intellectual / conceptual artist elliot. got a feeling that you think a lot about various aspects of your characters. that prolly comes naturally to you what with you being a writer and all.

your being awfully kind but really Im just a fan of references and injokes. And theres alot of them in the music world

alan moore did that too in many of his creations. references and homage of sorts. and that did add layers to the story / characters whether it was intentional or not.

i'm looking forward to more of your work ... [happy,

Some logo ideas for Psychopomp.

Deers and Sparrows are only just a few of the animals said to act as Psychopomps within the Ancient World. I lean towards the Dear myself
though I like how the Sparrow idea turned out.

Oh thats waaay cool stuff man. Freaking simple, but flawless execution and cool factor!

the last two members of Psychopomp

Ira Ackley. Guitarist for the band. Considering Ira is British with a thick Yorkshire accent I based him on The Edge from U2 sans the goatee. He also has a 6yr old daughter named Lily, who he knows nothing about.

Ben Greene. The bands drummer. His look was base exclusively on my cousin's boyfriend whose an awesome guy anyways so it all works. Ben was raised by his aunt and uncle in their home/funeral parlour.

and theres Psychopomp.

i'm intrigued. are you planning a comic here, elliot?

Elliot Bedlam - August 29, 2009 09:15 AM (GMT)
Dont know. I have a few ideas with these guys.

heres a sketch I did a few minutes ago. A friend/crush asked me to draw her as a warrior goddess. I did this as a joke. Butshedoeshavealushiousassicantdenythat.

Cool stuff Bedlam.

Elliot Bedlam - August 31, 2009 05:18 AM (GMT)
And here's Janet* wearing a lovely Greco-Roman inspired dress with a segmented belt/corset which does a lovely job at supporting her and keeping any tummy troubles [goof] in check. Accessories available at your local Themysciran Retailer.

She's coming along nicely. I think she's just a bootyful as the real thing.
