ok, here's the next installment of the vida awards. we are changing the process somewhat (hopefully for the better), there'll be two rounds:

1. nomination (this week) <--- here posters nominate who they think would be eligible for the following categories:
2. actual voting (next week) <--- voting will be via polls and strictly confidential

please nominate a member for each award, you have to nominate for 9 categories (you don't have to nominate for the wonder woman category) or your choices will not count. you have a week to post your nominations, nomination closes next thursday.

the proposed categories are:

we will shortlist about 5-10 nominees for each category, and actual voting would commence next week after nomination week ends.

IMPORTANT: the original 5 members, mickeys4life, bazell, caribs, lockheed and kacangpool are not eligible. this should free certain slots so other members can get a shot.

as before, if you want your nominations to be private, you may pm them instead.

we will also be having tribute polls dedicated to fine creators (artists / fan-fic writers) who have contributed immensely to the tavern. this would be on top of the 10 regular popularity polls. no nomination required for this.

the creative awards - all artists / writers who have been featured will be eligible and included in the polls (bar the original 5).

EDIT: initially, the women, stan lee and jack kirby prizes were non-nomination categories, but since everyone has nominated posters even for these categories, we'll just go along with that.
