Unused enemies?, Found it myself!

I found these sprites in Metroid Fusion's memory when in a room with a Kago (they were next to it in memory). The palette is not necessarily the correct one, but this is the Kago's palette. Has anyone seen these before? Discuss. (Dazuro thinks they may be Hornoads, and I'm thinking he may be right.)

I think we have a couple topics talking about the gamecube sprites.
Those other ones I haven't seen though.
There are some more unused sprites in the game, but I can't remember which they were or which rooms they were found in. >_<

These were found by Tango_311 of Metroid Fan Mission. I'll edit my post later because I have a little bit more.

The place where there at stinks. You have to verify before you can see them. Yeah I've seen the "war wasp hive" thing before plus some other stuff.

Maybe you could send it into TSR of MFM? Didn't you have there once but not as a submittion?

yup, thats how I got the sheet again:

don't mind the tag, it isn't true anymore. the part I just added is Tango's stuff from the pack (and I don't care if anyone gives credit now, Tango does though probably.) in the pack there is a lot more... from tilesets to even the title screen. in the sheet I just posted, I am missing one more enemy. Its in the pack, these little red bug things. If you look, there is the moto which was used, I was actually the first to find this but without the mask. The moto without the mask was unused.

Yeah i've seen images like this at IGN. IA Metroid Fusion that was not used?

Some of that was stolen from Super Metroid. The purple beta "X parasites" are recolored Boyons from Super Metroid. The Kago and the Skree (not verified) are identical to those of SM. The giant amoeba is just a palette change from the one featured in MF, so that doesn't count. (They're not stored with their palettes anyway.)

yup, thats how they were in beta fusion. Nintendo was lazy so they used the sprites from super metroid. I did not rip the prototroid. I did not rip the side with the prototroid, the waver, the beta X, the zombie dude, etc... those were all Tangos. Kago? don't you mean the Yard's shell? These is actually a tiny barely noticeable difference. If you go through some rooms in Sector 1 (SRX) and look in the tileviewer, there will be those skrees, and yes they are the exact same from super metroid.

No, I meant the Kago. I was giving examples of ones that were copied-and-pasted, not specifically the "unused" ones.

Also, I like to call it the Proto-Metroid as well, but it's quite debatable. It has been pointed out that it looks just (read: most) like the Bang, an unused enemy in Super Metroid. Other people said it's possibly a Flitt or even a Meboid from Metroid 2, but all opinions have their problems.

(I'm pretty sure Draygon's glue is identical to the Boyon and beta X as well.)

Funny thing...I actually found the Stoke (mini-Crocomire) and the Bang in Super Metroid a long, long time ago and didn't know what either was called at the time (and didn't find out about the Bang until a day or two ago). Of course I likely wasn't the first even then, but still...I did it on my own!

I believe that I have found some of the parts before but I'm not sure if I saved them.
