It was only intended to be a rough draft. Enjoy…:

Name: Leon Briggs
Alias: Leo Crow
Nickname(s): Crow
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Contact: Blackdawn8389

History
Leon’s birth and early childhood were like any other child’s, filled with mischief, and yet a twist of mayhem. His mother was a ‘homemaker’, while his father worked as a police officer, ex-military, and his older brother worked as an accountant. Leon’s brother was around eighteen years older then Leon himself, as Leon was born late into his mother and father’s life, though both his mother and father were in the condition to care for him. He grew up sheltered, yet chaotic. This was mostly due to how his father was ex-military, and his first son didn’t care for the military, Leon’s father pushed Leon beyond the normal limits of a child’s performance. Because of this, Leon was extremely intelligent, charming, and cunning, as well as athletic beyond comparison of another child. Leon was enrolled into many sports growing up, and usually was the star player, which helped to further his arrogant nature.

As if brainwashed by his father, Leon was set on joining the military, and would let nothing stop him from his goal. His brother, however, moved away from the family, mostly for fact that he did not get along with his father, and also because he did not want to care for Leon should their mother and father pass away. He was never heard from again, save for a few greeting cards here and there. By the time Leon had reached ten years old, his father had retired, and retirement and the pension were enough to cover family needs plus some. This allowed Leon’s father to help Leon train harder then he had in the past. Leon didn’t care what he was doing, so long as he could prove to his father that he could. It was one thing Leon’s father never showed, emotion. Leon was well on the path of being the same way.

High school years went by quickly, Leon being the star player in many different sports, while at the same time his GPA was among the highest in the class. The moment that Leon had waited so long for had finally come as school ended, he joined the army. It was easy to tell that he had the skills necessary to proceeded deeper into the military, but he was held back due to his inexperience. In due time, he joined the special forces, given missions that most would simply laugh off as a joke, but it was these missions which fueled him to do better. It was true that he was arrogant, but he wasn’t stupid.

He was to be led by a captain, who had an unrivaled military career, to a base that was supposed to quarter rebels. The team had to traverse a thick jungle, and those who didn’t die from the conditions, were killed by the wildlife. A handful managed to reach the base, which was completely deserted, except for a few empty containers. The information they had been given was incorrect, and many good men lost their lives. The heat, the losses, and the incorrect information were enough to get to everyone, including the captain. They hadn’t enough food and water for everyone to make it back out of the jungle, so they had to stay put, hoping that someone would come to rescue them.

The captain finally snapped, and began shooting at things that weren’t there. Leon stepped up to take command, and had the captain imprisoned in one of the old containers to keep both him, and the survivors save. They had camped there for a few months, feeding off whatever they could, maggots, ants, leaves. Things seemed grim as the men started to get sick, but Leon kept insisting they stay put. The men rebelled, then let the captain out of the container. The captain in turn had Leon imprisoned in the same container, and with a few day’s pass, the captain shot all of his own men while they slept. Leon, however, was in the container, and the captain saw fit that Leon starved and dehydrated rather then a quick merciful death. The captain took the last of the supplies and made his way into the jungle, leaving Leon there. With no one to guard him, Leon escaped the container by means of bending the old metal bars enough for him to squeeze through. His only mission now was to find the captain.

He used his training to trail the captain, and to success. The captain was gathering water a stream when Leon sneaked up on him and the captain saw his reflection in the water. The two fought each other until Leon, who was younger, but yet dehydrated and starving, managed to choke the captain until he was unconscious. Leon pillaged the captains supplies, stripping him of everything he had but his bare clothes. Leon left the captain where he laid, and made his way out of the jungle. After he exited the jungle, the followed a trail which led to a small town where he was able to get help and be treated. A local woman was kind enough to treat him, and in a few weeks he was back to his old self.

He managed to get a ride to the closest town, which was still relatively small, roughly thirty-thousand populace, when he saw a wanted poster with his face on it. He acted quickly in cutting his own hair, and getting a change of clothing. Leon had no funds, and no other way to cover his face, so he scarred his face. He had a piece of broken glass which he used to create three large scars, one diagonally down his left eye, another from his right temple to his chin, and a final cut down the left side of his lip. He treated the wounds himself, as they were not intended to be deep.

He began using the same training that he had used in the military to steal things in the night. It was only to get himself through the times, and worked to his appeal. He managed a small apartment in the slums of the small town, and to dye his hair to further distance himself from the wanted poster. Leon got a job as a bouncer for an underground club, which had many, many illegal activities going on, so pay was great. He started on a new identity, going by the name of ‘Leo Crow’, and took up a fascination in ZOIDS. He purchased ZOIDS of his own, along with all of the necessary paraphernalia that go along with them, and started a new career.

Appearance

Leon stands around six foot in height, and weighing in at somewhere around one hundred and eighty pounds, most of which is compiled of muscle. He as a pale tan complexion with bleached white hair, black at the roots, hanging somewhere around his lips, with his bangs parted on either side of his face, only parted enough for him to see so as he would not be discovered. On the right side of his face is a scar that travels from just in front of his temple down to the jaw line, a second scar is formed cutting diagonally a crossed his left eye, and a third is cut a crossed the left portion of his lip. His eye color is a deep cerulean blue, gradually darkening as it grows bigger. Leon has much definition in his jaw line and cheek bones, though not much.

Attire
Leon’s usual attire consist of tight, white, long sleeved undershirts, with black or navy tee shirts over it. Around his waist is the same rugged navy colored clothe belt that he wears with everything, which has a small brass colored buckle. His pants range from a hunter green to a black, to a navy blue, but are all somewhat faded around the knees, and generally loose around his ankles, usually hanging over his pure black sneakers. Although some might see it as stupid, Leon wears a pair of goggles on his forehead, flipping them down when in battle, but usually always wearing them, either on his eyes or on his forehead.

Personality

Leon is very easy to get along with, though his arrogance tends to drive some away. He enjoys a good prank every now and then, and always dishes out sarcastic remarks, both offensive, and humorous. Usually Leon is quiet and stern, attempting to put on as much of an intimidating appearance as possible because of his status as a mercenary. One of the many things he dislikes are people who chew with their mouths open, people causing needless harm, and, since the incident with his captain, taking orders.

Format and tips..

Try to follow that format, as you can see you're missing one or two things like your character's nationality.

Now, your character strikes me as a.. Child Prodigy. Pretty much good at everything, regardless of the fact that his father forced him to. And how did he get a Zoid piloting license, since I'm assuming he has no legal papers?

History
Leon grew up in the in the inter city of Guylos, his parents both making barely enough, going from check to check every week. He was an only child, but had enough friends around him to keep him company. He grew up quickly, and got a job painting house numbers on sidewalks for people who needed it, painting houses, taking out garbage, really anything he could. Because of this, he learned the value of money, and saved it from that moment on. Of course he would buy himself video games and the such, but not spend everything.

His mother ended up pulling two disks in her back, and bludging another, putting her out of work, which she worked as at nursing home, treating the elderly, as well as bathing them and the such. She started a law suit against the company she worked for, and for a few years they work would hold checks, give her half, and then half the next week. Things got real tight, and it came time for Leon to give up his savings, which he did grudgingly, but he knew it was for the family.

They made it through the hard times, and eventually the case settled. Leon's family was awarded 300,000, one hundred thousand per year that it drug on. Leon's family immediately left the inner city for the suburbs, and his father, who quit working in a warehouse, started his own small business of buying cheap, foreclosed houses, and fixed them up, selling them for almost triple the buying price.

A few years later that small business grew, into a much larger business. The family now had money to spend on stupid things like a custom house, a large crystal elephant in the center of their living room that squirted water out it's trunk, stupid stuff like that. Leon, however, got into Zoids. He had played the video games, but to actually own one was a much bigger task. His parents did have enough money to buy one though, so he did, actually, he bought a few.

At sixteen, his father hired an on-board instructor to help Leon train to become a pilot, and by eighteen, Leon had alot of experience behind the controls. He had a Hover Cargo purchased for him, and a experienced team hired for him, so he was set to win matches, which he did. More his team won them for him. With the money, came arrogance from his mother and father, which Leon started to resent. The resent turned into fighting and bickering, and Leon started to become distant to his mother and father.

The distance turned into his mother and father taking away ever Leon had, except the Hover Cargo, and his current Zoid. Leon needed to start a new team, and figured he would go to a repair shop, which he was coincidently in Guylos, and find lone pilots who were making repairs, and offer them to join. He did, and he found Luka Degrave, and Damien Grosse.

One of the many things he dislikes are people who chew with their mouths open, people causing needless harm, and suffers from nightrophobia ( Fear of Night/Dark. ), since when he was in his Pteras, and it was CSFed, the ejection seat stuck for a few seconds, and he was left in the dark, and thought he going to die, until the Zoid finally did eject, and crashed into water.

Mia was right, and still is. There doesn't seem to be much of any difference between the first and second editions of the bio. It's alright for him to be good, and it's alright for his father to have pushed him, but ease up on it a bit.
And those guys, they ain't Special Forces. Regular army, and Vietnam-quality training to boot. If Cappy went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, I'm pretty sure the men would've 'relieved him of command.' And there would've had to have been an exotic disease involved, or possibly a wild animal attack. Maybe even an ambush. 'Cause heat and humidity and normal diseases don't get soldiers. They have training, equipment, and innoculations.

I noticed you lowered his GPA score in the other paragraph. Technically that doesn't count. You see he could have a low GPA score but that wouldn't say that he was stupid or such. In fact you said in this very paragraph that he was 'extremely intelligent, charming, and cunning, and even atheletic'. It seems to me that his real image is in that one line, not in his GPA. So lowering that did nothing to lower Leon's prodigy level.

Lower that level down a notch and then balance out what you have with some quirks. I mean.. If I were that close to perfect I'd be.. My cousins. Which brings up another topic- Why is his dad pushing him? Yes he's a millitary father but that can't be the entire reason can it? Why most of my relatives push their kids to the prodigy level, not because they were strict (at least that's what they're making me believe..) it's because none of them wanted their kids to have as rough a life as they did. There are reasons behind the things parents do, what's his father's reason?

The Captain? Next sentence said 'team'. Now unless the team freed the Captain, I think you should fix that. And about the constant ambushes.. What was going on? Who was ambushing them? I doubt a war is going on right now. I'm also sure that they had some sort of radio or something to keep in contact with whoever's in charge, which means they would've sent help in some way or form. And even if they didn't maintain contact, I'd like to think that someone would send a rescue team or such to find out what happened to the team after a while.

I edited it, and completely redid the storyline. This time it reflects a little more about my own past.

Nice job, much better then the first version. Though everyone starts off with a Gustav until someone in staff puts up other zoid transport bios. And just add in why he has a fear of night and I think you're good to go.

I think this is breaking a record for the most post on one pilot application, but I did put in his personality that it had something to do with his Pteras CSFing, and the ejection seat sticking for a few seconds, so he was left in the dark, thinking he was going to do. Good?
