General

1. Follow Invisionfree's Terms of Use (ToU). The link to it is at the very bottom of the page.
   
2. Each user is only allowed to have one account. No exceptions.
   
3. Any accounts with offensive and/or otherwise inappropriate names are subjected to immediate deletion at the discretion of the admins.
   
4. Any accounts in the Members group that go for 2 weeks without a single post, and/or any accounts in the Members group that have made posts, but are inactive for 6 weeks without posting in the Disappearing/Reappearing Announcements topic beforehand are subjected to deletion at the discretion of the admins.
   
5. No posting material or information that does not belong in the topic you're posting in, unless it it is in the OoC Forum.
   
6. No double-posting is allowed except when the posts are more than three hours apart or unless you have a very good reason for posting. (Whether or not the reason is good is up to the admins.)
   
7. No excessive foul language or language that is not needed. Word filters are active, but this does not give you a reason/excuse to excessively swear. If you try to bypass the word filter (i.e. a censor bypass), you'll be subjected to the disciplinary system, starting directly with level 2.
   
8. If a specific thread has rules of its own, follow the rules in that thread in addition to these. If rules conflict, these ones come first. Most swears have now been taken off the word filter. This is for another area of the board. Use of the following words without a censorship will result in a 1 day ban.

Conduct

1. Flaming (a.k.a. insulting others on the board) is not tolerated. Treat everyone on MMC with respect.
   
2. Do not make any comments that would offend a certain group or minority (races, religions, etc.). Period. Otherwise, your account will be subject to levels 3 and up of the disciplinary system without warning by any of the admins.
   
3. If an admin or mod asks/tells you to do something, do it. Do not disrespect us for any reason. If you think that the admin or mod is abusing his/her power with this rule over something that isn't important, contact the head admin about it, and he'll sort out the situation accordingly as soon as he can. If you flame us (this includes PMs or MMC-related IMs), then we will go straight to the higher levels of the disciplinary system at our discretion.

Disciplinary System

If a member violates a rule, then he/she will be dealt with in accordance with one of the following levels of discipline (most start at level 1; some may start higher up if noted). Further violation of the rules from the point the violation is made will result in an increase in the level of discipline. There are five levels, and they are as follows:

1. Recieving a friendly warning via PM.
   
2. Being warned up to 3 times by the board's warn system.
   
3. Being banned from posting for 24 hours.
   
4. Being banned from posting for 7 days.
   
5. Having his/her IP banned and his/her account deleted.
