the ''mod or not'' program

hi,
I'm making a program wich allows people to choose, before they start the game, if they want to play it normally or modded.
It should replace the start-up icon, and is only usefull for people who use mods.

Why? Imagine yourself playing the best mod ever...then all of a sudden you want to play online, which means: close game, remove modded files out of your game folder, import non-modded files in your game folder, start game.....
Imagine yourself coming very stressed home, and the only way to relax is bfme2 compslaughtering while being overpowered, so you start up your game and then...****the mod isn't installed!! stop game. remove big files. import modded .big files. start game
this will only add to your stress!!!

My way: start game. Pop-up asking: "Do you want to play BFME2 the normal way or do you want to play _name of mod_ ?"

theres no point of this because if the mod has a shortcut and is in appdata then it basically does what you say because you can still run the vanilla version.

the -mod command practically does this already. I've also seen a program called Mod Manager which does this too.
