Canon/Original;; Canon

Codename;; None

Name;; Loki Laufeyson

Title;; God of Mischief

Age;; Age is irrelevant to a being such as Loki. He has lived many ages of mortals, though exactly how many has been lost to the annals of history.

Gender;; Male, Female, once again, irrelevant. Loki can choose to be any gender he wishes.

Appearance;; Unlike many gods (even among his female counterparts) Loki is lithe and slim, so much so that one couldn’t even consider him athletic and one would never guess his weight as being upwards of five hundred pounds. His eyes are a deep emerald green, his hair while rarely seen blacker then the ravens Hugin and Mugin. His fingernails seem to be painted in the same black tinge, a stark contrast to his pale alabaster skin. However what’s most recognizable about the Trickster is his devious smirk, perhaps hiding more secrets then even the devil himself.

Clothing;; This is perhaps the only thing that remains static as apart of Loki’s appearance. Long ago, he crafted himself this outfit, made of what seems to be a simple cloth of dark forest green, a large leather belt around his waist with large golden rings hanging from it. He wears gloves consisting of black leather, the wrist covered in some sort of fur, and legging of an unknown metal material. He wears a large fur draped around his back as a cloak, which often seems to vary in both size and how he wears it. In some cases, he has worn it as a fur coat. His most notable piece of clothing is his helm, golden in color and possibly composition, it has to large antlers curving out and upwards with four long braids flowing from it.

Powers/Skills;;

Loki, unlike most in the halls of Asgardian, is in fact, not a descendant of Odin and rather the child of the deceased monarch of the Frost Giants. However, Loki shares many of the common physical traits of most gods. He has superhuman stamina, under regular conditions allowing him to operate for up to twenty four hours in strenuous activities before succumbing to fatigue, superhuman durability which has allows him to contend with others of his strength class, as well as impacts, most bullets and bladed weapons, and even mystical assaults. He has the ability to lift nearly fifty tons.

However, Loki has been known to increase these traits with mysticism, such as increasing his physical strength to match that of Thor, his durability to take blows from even the strongest opponents, and has even augmented his stamina. However, he rarely relies upon his physical talents.

Magic;; First and foremost, Loki is incredibly adept at magic, surpassing nearly all Asgardian gods. His only superior in Asgard thus far is of course, the Allfather Odin. He can use mysticism for a variety of abilities. Such as fire powerful concussive beams, generate force fields capable of withstanding even the strongest blows for a short while, increase the physical attributes of other beings, and many other tricks. He has used magic to increase his healing-factor beyond that of almost any god, to the point where even if a limb has been cut off, all he’d have to do is reattach it by holding it close to his body. He has even allowed his head to be decapitated, while he continued to speak and operate.

He has mimicked psionics, projecting his thoughts for mental communications and even the use of hypnosis. However, this is not true psychic ability. He cannot read the minds of others. He also has the ability to shape-shift, taking whatever form he pleases from people to mythical creatures.

Loki is a tactical genius, and his cunning is legendary. If the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn’t exist, then Loki’s greatest trick was manipulating him to end the simple ruse. His knowledge in the mystic arts are said to be greater then even a sorcerer supreme’s (though objects like the eye of agamotto would be quite useful), and despite his appearance, is actually an adept swordsman. He is also quite adept with a whip, and is able to channel mystical energies through both his sword, and a whip of his own creation, ten feet in length tapering off in to three ends leading to crackers.

Weaknesses;;

Loki’s biggest weakness actually seems to be his greatest foe in Thor. He has an insatiable lust for power, and often alienates himself from others through his deeds which brings an air of mistrust even from those who know him. Much like other great sorcerers, it’s thought that Loki is actually weaker when away from his home dimension of Asgard, as he was not born of the earth. He seems to be much more powerful in Asgard.

Personality;; Loki is above all the God of Mischief and Trickery. More aptly, he is a God of Mayhem and Chaos. His ultimate goal is to bring around Ragnarok, and he will do anything to achieve this. However he always seems to have some ulterior motive behind everything he does. Even with foresight, it’s nearly impossible to guess what his next action will be. He seems rather adept at changing his methods on the fly. Ultimately, he is a villain, and his intent is to do evil, but on occasion he has been known to aid his foes. For instance, he’s likely to aid Thor if he thinks that whatever’s fighting him would get the killing blow rather than himself. He covets power like no other, and would do anything to ascend to the throne of Asgard.

History;;

As previously mentioned, Loki is the offspring of the monarch of the Frost Giants. When Odin did personal battle with the beast. After doing away with the Giant Laufey, the All-Father found a tiny Asgardian-sized child amongst the former stronghold of his ancient foes. Laufey had kept this boy hidden because of his small size and appearance, and Odin took him out of pity and because his honor dictated that he was the son of a worthy foe. He would be raised alongside Odins biological son Thor, who would become his nemesis. The animosity between the two started early. Loki, still a lithe and relatively small boy seemed pushed aside, given the Asgardian love for strength above intellect, bravery, and tenacity. Loki was none of these things, and the Asgardians enjoyed reminding him of this. Loki however had a natural talent with magic. He vowed that he would use these abilities to once and for all prove himself the better of all Asgardians with his abilities.

As he grew older, Loki became more devious, and his title as the God of Mischief was bestowed upon him by his peers. While he started out with simple games and pranks, his lust for power made him more malicious and dangerous as time went by, and everyone knew this. He was quickly turned from God of Mischief to God of Evil, and over the millennia, Loki tried many times to destroy Thor. Odin normally tolerated him, and simply imprisoned him within a tree until Loki was powerful enough to free him from these mystical bonds. Over the years, Loki’s attempts became more crafty, and he began imbuing others with power to do battle on his behalf. The first, and quite possibly the most successful and dangerous servant was Crusher Creel, the absorbing man. By imbuing Crusher with powerful magics, he made a foe that would plague and haunt Thor forever, finding new and innovative ways to fight the god.

He began to empower others, such as bestowing Wrecker of the Wrecking Crew with a mystical crowbar similar to Mjolnir. But even by imbuing servants with great power, he realized this was not enough, and even began to covet the power of the Allfather Odin. His one successful attempt however ended with disastrous results, as Odin banished Loki. His soul was temporarily remanded to the realm of Mephisto. However ultimately, even hell couldn’t hold the villain, and Loki has returned to his one true purpose - bringing about Ragnarok. However, is there a more sinister plan in mind? Only time will tell.

Affiliation;; Himself

Code;; Fighter Jet

RP Sample;; “You know, I fear that after all this time, the creativity once coveted by our dear species is becoming a lost art. There was once a day when clichés were frowned upon, and innovative new ways had to be developed. But as I sit here, I am all but overjoyed that the old methods are returned to as though he undervalues them. As though he thinks his plan is foolproof.” The cold winter air hit Loki like a brick as he spoke to seemingly no one in particular. But appearances were deceiving. “There was once a time when a little bit of unpredictability went a long way. But these days, everyone has to try and plan out every little detail, move every little piece to the correct position until they uncoil and like the midgard serpent, strike at the heart.”

He snapped his fingers, a small flame appearing above his palm before he closed his hand extinguishing it just as quickly. Behind him, was a tree. But the tree was abnormal. Ghostly. Much like the one he’d been bound in years before. But in his place, three dada spirits. He’d gone through much trouble to procure them without notice. All for a little science experiment. He had to know if they were real. If they existed so truly, and what power they could wield.

In the dark, thirteen pairs of eyes. His own eyes looked shock. Even among the Asgardians, they were thought to be myth. Remnants of the age of Bor long past. As the Valkyrie were to the all father, so these carrion women were to Bor. For long, they’d served loyal. But when Bor had discovered them feasting upon Asgardian flesh, he’d cursed them and banished them. That they’d only feed upon the wandering spirits of gods, so hungry. Yet the catch was that god spirits were either in Asgard…. Or in Hel. And now it was time. The one with crown of bone was first to speak. “What is it you wish of the Disir?”

Loki looked upon them, a small cake appearing in his hand as he bit in to it casually. “Why, to gain the services of your grace.” he spoke smoothly. The response was cold, obviously not received well. “The only thing you have to interest us is the red coursing through your veins. There is no other offer you can make to us.” Loki chuckled, finishing off the cake as he looked at the carrion maidens. “I see, you misunderstand. What Loki would call servants, other gods may call… slaves.” he smiled darkly as outrage blossomed upon their collective faces. “Our curse means that if we slay you we cannot eat you. But we can still hold thine flesh in our mou-” The fur cloak around Loki was cast off, revealing intricate armor and weaponry as he cracked the whip across the snow, a wall of fire surrounding them all. “No. You may try. You have no idea what I am. No one does.” Blood flew, blasts from both parties rang out. But no sooner had it begun then the one with crown of bone knelt before him, pledging their loyalties.

He plucked the crown from atop her head. “You are the victor.”

“No.” Loki spat. “Thor claims victory. I… want something more.” The crown began to shrink until it fit around his ring finger, placing it on. “You are now forever bound to me, as deep as you were bound to the father of fathers Bor. My brides.” he smirked.

Previous RP Experience;; I’m the blue one, with a taste for evil masterminds. Of which I realized I currently had none on M:AND, and thus felt deprived
