The streets of Hells Kitchen ran red with blood. The blood of terrorists and tyrants, the blood of innocents and offenders. But it wasn't spilled blood he wanted tonight. It was fresh blood. Blood that coursed through the veins of the future. He'd told Osborn that to make a team he'd lead, he wanted the future, and the girl he sought tonight would be it. She simply required... proper motivation. With training, she wouldn't be half-bad. But in many ways, she was still a child. She'd need to be hardened. And at this age, she was the perfect clay, and he the master sculptor. He wasn't going to manipulate her. Too many people tried that. If it were him, he'd want it straightforward, no frills. And she could take it. She'd have to take it. Armed with nothing but an axe, he stalked along the skyline of Hells Kitchen, watching and waiting.

Molly turned down a run after being lost for hours on hours. This was just plain stupid, and to top it off she was lost. Great, nothing else could worse than this! Wait, when Psylocke found out she would discover the worse part. "She'll put me in the Danger Room until I drop." The young Hayes sighed, and looked around for anyone who would try and take advantage of a twelve year old girl walking around. She just wanted something to hit, something to pummel, and something to break. Then again she had been doing that since her powers first came into being.

He leaped from the building, wind rushing past him as he grabbed his axe, drawing it as he slammed in to the ground at least twenty feet in front of Molly. He turned on his heel, the axe flying upwards to point at her. "Molly Hayes. X-Man. Mutant. Super strength, endurance, and durability. Ares, lord of war has petitioned the fates, and they have granted you a boon. They call upon you for greatness. They call upon you to become what you were born to be. You are the future. The new Avengers. Will you answer?" Of course no wouldn't be an acceptable answer. The only answer he'd accept would be her undying loyalty.

"If you know that much, then you should know I have a problem with listening to adults!" Molly yelled at the man who had brought an axe down in front of her face. Bruiser wasn't scared, far from it. She could handle anything this oversized creep had to throw at her, and then she could throw more at him.

However, the cadet training never did start at the Mansion. So maybe this was her chance to relieve some stress by pounding on things. "What type of future and call are you talking about it." Molly asked with a grin on her face. She was bold, not stupid.

He'd expected that sort of answer. She was young, powerful, and right now, dumb. However, this was one of those things he'd have to fix. As she was talking, he dropped his axe, examining his gauntlets as he untied them, dropping them to the ground as well. He had to humiliate her first. Break her. Her strength, while great, was nothing without training. "I have heard this kind of talk before. Young, cocky, but you simply don't listen to your elders because respect hasn't been beaten in to you. When I was a child, respect was something demanded. You fought and killed for it. Parents these days however, are lax. You don't have to like me, but you will respect me. Until you can beat me. Come little girl, so I can bend you over my knee and give you the beating you deserve."

[OOC: I'm taking that this happens after Molly gets beat down by Juggers which well do after he gets done with the others.]

The young Hayes dropped her head. A fight? Was that all he wanted right now? Why did she always get herself into these situations? Molly had already lost to the Juggernaut when she thought she could take him. She was seriously beaten, but her mutation had kept her alive long enough to get treated for injuries. Psylocke had even talked to her about, and almost scolded her. Luckily she left it at that allowed the young girl to think things out for herself. /I guess I didn't really learn anything from that fight then if I get myself into more trouble than I'm worth./

"I don't want to fight. I was already beaten badly once, and don't want to my friends to have to put up with me getting more injuries than I'm worth." Bruiser lifted her to look at Ares for the first time without being cocky. He seemed stronger, and maybe he would able to take out the Juggernaut by himself if he wanted to. "If you want someone to fulfill a future, then go find someone else. I would be more of a liability then any help. I'm too young and couldn't even hold my own against the Juggernaut!"

As he'd thought. There was a lot of talk, but little follow through. Once again, something he could remedy. The Juggernaut. A rudimentary brawler, but he had his usefulness. He'd almost considered him, though given his disdain for idiots, he'd immediately abandoned the idea. So she'd lost. She was twelve. To expect her to win would have been like asking her to outfight himself. At her age, it was impossible. But she wasn't a lost cause. She just wasn't a particularly smart one.

"Loss was expected. You are young. Weak. Still breakable. You lost to a better opponent. But I can train you. Teach you how to use your strength in the most devastating ways imaginable. And perhaps next time, things will be different. But you work for me. I tolerate no other allegiances, I suffer no fools, and if your friends wish to take you from me, then I will break them over my knee and bury them in shallow graves. The choice is yours. Continue on a path of mediocrity and failure, or continue on a path to greatness."

"Make me stronger? But what about the X-Men cadets?" Molly asked aloud as she went to turn around, but stopped in her tracks. He could make her stronger, make it to where her powers never failed her, and even give her a rematch for the Juggernaut. Though, what about the X-Men, the cadet training, and all her friends back at the institute? If she could get stronger then she may be able to protect them all and not have to rely on others to keep her safe.

Bruiser had always wanted to be treated like an adult, and this was her only shot. Not to mention there wasn't much of a choice. Ares might hurt everyone at the institute just to show her that he is the right answer to her power problem. Does she have what it takes to really play with the boys? Molly looked back at him with a serious face, and decided it was time to runaway, again. Although she would still stay at the Xavier Mansion and try to hide it.

"Ok, I'll join. But I have to stay at the Xavier Institute for now, and I don't want them to know about this." Molly didn't turn her head away this time and kept her face straight. "Deal?"
