A wisecracking return

"So there's hope for a girl yet? That's good to know." She slipped her foot out of shoe and touched Peter's leg with it, while winking at him. "So what does a Spider-man do do for fun? Besides take pictures of himself in spandex." She moved her foot further up his leg, while taking another drink. "So is that your spider-sense tingling, or something else? I'm thinking I want to get to know you better, Petey. A lot better. And somewhere a little more private than this, where anybody might walk in."

Jen was feeling very lustful at that moment. She wasn't sure what it was about Peter Parker(or maybe it was Spider-man, who she'd always felt at least a slight attraction towards, sorta like a friend's younger brother who finally grew up...and went from annoying brat to cute) that was making her feel this way. She wasn't sure if Mary Jane Watson was the competition, but Peter didn't sound too sure either. Jen might as well make her move.

"Yeah, I guess it does mean there is hope." But for what? He spoke a bit distantly, his thought trying to figure out what she meant.

Pete felt the foot touch his leg, and took notice of the wink, returning a small smile. He never knew Jen had feelings for him, or to be honest, he couldn't tell if it was just a temporary attraction. The foot traveled further up his leg, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt. Sure, he and MJ were in the friend-zone and there was no sign of a relationship forming anytime soon, but it still felt odd. This was probably due to his feelings for MJ, but at the same time, that little voice in the back of his head took over. He just looked at her, momentarily wishing he had his mask on to hide his slight blush.


"Get to know each other better, yeah, that sounds good." He was starting to get relaxed, perhaps too relaxed.

He had worked with her from time-to-time before, but it never dawned on him to get to know his allies. Though now he'd be working alongside them even more then usual, and that meant getting to know you're friends. His thoughts started to process what Jen meant, and his blush slightly intensified, though not enough to make a noticable difference. Now he was finding himself looking her over, taking notice of her legs and her form. Mentally he shook himself, trying to focus on the matter at hand. Was Shulkie really inviting him to her room, or was he just having a really weird day-dream? He couldn't shake the voice though, and just decided to shrug and let it play out. If it wasn't meant to be, some sort of force would stop it, but then again his life wasn't that simple.

"Ladies first." He spoke comically, and his thoughts confirmed he was back to normal now.
