It was no surprise that such an event had drawn a crowd – the front of Avenger's Tower was swamped with people bursting to get a look at these new Avengers. The Tower was newly constructed, but had gone up surprisingly fast. Norman had a lot of money, after all, and government sanctioning went a long way, especially when you were the Director of the Commission of Superhuman Activities. The building was built oddly, with numerous underground levels and reaching high in New York, stretching out in three directions and rising up the middle of it all, between the walls, was the Watchtower, home of Robert Reynold's – the Sentry.

The tower that had been constructed was something of a marvel – it was new and innovative, something that the people weren't used to. The Watchtower on top was new, too – at least, so their memories told them all. The whole thing was very strange, but they were clamoured around the podium, holding up signs and cheering these New Avengers on. Cameras were flashing, press footage was rolling, news reporters were talking ten to the dozen about this sudden and new press conference pulled up by the new head of the Commission on Superhuman Activities, Norman Virgil Osborn.

He was no where in sight, however.

Up on the podium, the crowd could see an arrangement of superheroes, who all stood proudly, allowing their pictures to be taken, allowing themselves to be filmed. On the far right was a white haired young man who no one recognized – He was dressed in white and green, an almost military looking uniform but pretty space-age. He was handsome, well built and seemed to be the youngest one up there. A symbol was stitched onto the left breast of his uniform and a belt of gold went round his waist, with two blue gems set into who buckles that were worn either side of a third, larger one in the centre with a red gem set into that. His hand and forearms were wreathed in golden gauntlets which were set with large, red gems at the piece that extended over the back of his hands. While the man wasn't familiar, these certainly were – the Nega-Bands of the Kree superhero Captain Marvel.

One his left immediate left was a blond man that a few could vaguely recognize – the tall imposing figure was dressed in a orange-yellow flight suit with a large belt around it that resembled the belts that wrestlers wore, with a white 'S' on it. A cloak of royal blue fell off his shoulders, whipping in the wind with his blond hair. Matching blue boots and wrist braces also completed the look, and he looked up proudly, tall and strong. It was hard to believe that just days ago, he was a wreck.

Next to him was another blond, this figure the only woman up on the deck. Her outfit was considerably more skimpy, a red and black number that exposed her long legs and cut around her backside and upper thighs much like a swimsuit. Black gloves and black boots with red rims were present also, a large eight pointed star on her chest and a small red scarf whipping in the wind. She wore a black face mask that partially obscured her face, but it was not hard to guess who she was - everyone in the crowd knew that look, that costume.

Beyond her and the man to her left was a large, imposing figure. He stood far back, but still managed to look huge. He wore black body armour with a white skull motif splashed onto the breast plate and a white horse mane on his black helmet. An axe was clutched in his left hand, and studded gauntlets wreathed his muscle bulging arms. His eyes glowed white under the shadow of his helm and he was clearly the largest figure there – even bigger than the large, yellow clad one with the blue cloak.

Beside him – and close to the front – was a figure that was iconic. Dressed in yellow and brown, with a feral looking mask on that ended in two points and exposed his jaw, the man was someone that no one would forget in a hurry. He wore brown gloves and boots, with a thick red belt around his waist and a black tattoo on his left arm that was barely visible from the distance post people stood at – nevertheless, the figure was unmistakeable.

A little behind him, arms folded and looking smug, was another iconic figure – one of the original, founding Avengers! Purple and blue suit, bow looped over his shoulder and a quiver of arrows on his back, a tabard whipping between his legs every so slightly.. There was no mistaking the figure, even if this version of his costume didn't have the huge, obvious H on the mask.

The final figure in the line-up was another iconic one, but for different reasons. The famous web-swinging vigilante in his black and white costume stood on the furthest side of the podium from the white haired man, his hands planted on his hips proudly – although his face was hidden behind the full mask.

At the front, the one skipped earlier, was a man in StarkTech earlier. Themed in red, blue and white with a white star emblazoned on the chest like Captain America, his hands planted on his hips as well, the knuckles curled under, the man was the one who was at the front – and the one speaking. His voice rang out, over the speakers that were set up around the grounds outside Avengers Tower.

“Ladies and gentlemen watching us all over the world; as we start our healing.. As we start as a species to understand how we have yet again triumphed over those that would try to take away that which is rightfully ours.. It is my honour to introduce to you.. Your protectors.. Your warriors.. Your.. NEW AVENGERS!”

A cheer went up, deafening and loud and screaming. People stamped their feet, threw up their arms and let out cat-calls and screams, whistling and waving their signs. The man stood proudly, his Avengers behind him also standing their, basking in the power and the feeling that came with being a national hero. There was an explosion as confetti was blasted into the air and scattered around these New Avengers.
    “The all new..Captain Marvel!

    Sentry!

    Ms. Marvel!

    Ares!

    Wolverine!

    Hawkeye!

    The Amazing Spider-Man!

I am the Iron Patriot. I will lead these Avengers into battle against anyone who would threaten our way of life.”

The man in the StarkTech armour took off his helmet, revealing his face to millions across the globe watching. It was Norman Osborn, the very same man who killed the Skrull Queen and saved the day. “My name is Norman Osborn.. And I approve these Avengers!!”
