[Sayali Katriana]

Her mind was not really on anything but thoughts of the world around her at this moment. Her hand touched the water, a smile gracing her pale face. Her oceanic blue eyes were studious and calm. Her pale feet rested in the small stream, her water-silk scarf held in her slim hands, twining through her lithe fingers. Sayali Katriana was enjoying the beautiful afternoon sun, and just generally thinking.

As she listened to the quiet laughter of the bubbling creek, a rythem etched itself into her mind, bidding her to follow the soft call of the whistling winds and rushing waters. It pulled her feet and hands to move in the complex patterns of a dance learned long ago. It was as flowing as the scarf that moved so gracefully, twined about her hands. Her long ponytail flew behind her as she spun and twisted, her feet embedded in the water in which she danced.

The rythem of the nature about the young half-merfolk girl kept her dancing, as if it bade her never to stop. She may not have the same, pure blood has her sister had, but when she danced, her soul took wing in the waters. She loved the feelings that overcame her. The freedom, the joy, the harmony she felt. It filled her to the brim, causing a gentle laugh to rise from Saya. "Laugh, water, Laugh, dancing as you rush ahead. Sing, winds, Sing, fuel the gentle harmony." A lullaby she had picked up on her travels pulled itself from her in a sweet melody as she continued to dance, smiling, at peace.

[Blaze]

AC the terrible not to far away from the new comer, simply watching gathering information, wondering where the new comer came from, why they were here but most importantly if he could make a friend or another enemy. "Another enemy maybe? maybe a friend this time.... hmmm this is going to be fun"

AC pulled a flask out of his pocket and drank half before putting it away. His eyes seemed to calm down, a grin fell upon his face and his mind still focused on what would happen. AC relaxed his arms and tightend his legs. At the moment AC thought she would end up another enemy since water was fires natrual enemy but still, only time cane tell. AC wore his usual green T black T combo, he wore a pair of long shorts. His as always was a mess."Well, im going to open up with the usual a large blast of fire and probibly walk away singing my theme... hehehe"

AC pulled out his lighter and from the hiddin safty of the trees let out a large blast of fire, yep AC was still a human blow torch. The flames started small as to not burn the trees then weaved its way around other trees and as it closed in on the target grew larger until it resembled a 5 foot fist. AC didint want to hurt the new comer, or atleast not hurt her to much so AC kept his destructive capabilitys to a minimum. "I hope ill have atleast a little fun... Hehehehe"

Sayali kept dancing for but a moment, not even realizing that anyone was nearby, watching. She stopped when a noise reached her ears, "What the-?!" She danced backwared, the fire singing her as she lay her self down flat in the water, avoiding the blow. Being half of a creature of the water, she did not like fire, though it did not bother her at all, and she could be around it. But with a giant, fist-like ball of it hurtling towards her, it was the half-breed's natural reaction to drop into the water.

After she was sure it had passed, Saya stood, looking towards the trees from whence the great fireball had come at her, "I am well aware that you are there now, whoever you may be. Show yourself!" She was slightly unnerved at being attacked in such a manner, but it showed naught on her impassive face as she stood there, water-silk scarf wrapped about her elbows and dangling slightly in to the water beneath her feet. Her long hair and her clothes dripped from her swift dodge. But the flames had still singed her arm, and a small burn-welt rose where it had hit.

Her blue eyes studied the trees, wondering who would have shot the fireball at her, and given her slight curiosity, she wandered slightly closer. She still kept a good distance from the trees, in case the person decided to attack again, but still kept her eyes trained on where the flames had come from. She wouldn't risk another attack while she was unaware. It embarrased the girl that she had been caught so unaware at all. She tucked a strand of her ocean-colored hair behind her ears.

[Blaze]

AC loved a good entrance and this was a good place to make one. AC launched himself of the tree branch and into the skies as if he were some sort of bird. AC soard through the sky for a second or two and quickly came hurtling down to the ground only to land with a large thud an imprint of his feet in the ground and a wave of dirt rising. AC stood up with an evil grin plasterd on his face and his clothes some what coverd in dirt and a dust and in his mind AC thought "Id say that was a relitvly good entrance... could have been better, eh what ever"

AC tilted his head the right and said "Tell me, exactly who might you be...". AC wanted to know the awnser to this question, if he was going to have another enemy he should know who they are samething if she was gona be his friend. AC wanted to seem like he cared, hell if you could fake that your in and AC took learned how to act while on the move, being able to lie, cheat and fake where some of his greatest talents and with out those skills he would be able to make it through the world he was living in, be it good, bad, real or fake, it was the world he lived in...

Sayali stood, waiting. She didn't have to wait for long, however, for soon the person flew out of the trees. Her eyebrows raised in skepticism as he soared out, then landed. The dirt he kicked up blew about, making the young girl cover her eyes. When she opened them again, she looked at him, a placid, yet somewhat aloof expression on her face, 'Okay...Kind of overly exaggerated entrance there' she thought sardonically.

She looked over the person, "Tell me, exactly who might you be..."She smiled at his question, a slight smile, and she attempted to hold back a laugh, "I do believe I should be asking YOU that question, when it is you who just attacked me, am I correct?" Saya asked simply, watching him. If he was going to attack her again, she would be ready. She knew better than to underestimate someone who could be a potential threat to herself. She wouldn't let him get a chance to harm her again.

Her hand rested on a small knife hidden on her waist, and she would keep it there until she was positive that he would no longer attempt to harm her,"My name is Sayali Katriana. Saya for short." Her reply was short, curt, and her voice cold. She would not divulge any more information on herself than that until this stranger told her who he was. She was on her guard. It would not do for her to make enemies so early after she got here, so she was attempting to be kind to this person, though it was proving very difficult.

[Blaze]

AC's grin changed to a playfull yet dangerous smile and in his mind he began working out a battle plan still unsure if Sayali Katriana was planing on an attack. He wonderd what she was keeping her hand on, was it somthing that would prove hostile or neutral... any which way he would find out. AC stayed quiet for a few seconds, he simply looked her over and estimated her strength, looks like he wouldent even need to get drunk. "Me.... well a bettter question would be is, why did i attack you out of the blue... dont you think so Ms.Katrina".


AC's mind quickly came up with an idea, an idea that might tell him what she was hiding and if she was scared yet. AC used one of the oldest tricks in the book, suddenly thrusting his head forward. AC was laughing inside his head, "This is much to easy... i dont think it'll be necessary to kill her in the later years and there was no need to harm her..."

Saya watched him, slightly unnerved by his grin. 'He's odd...'She thought, looking him straight in the eyes, not afraid of him at all. She laughed out loud at his question, a quiet laugh, "Yes. I do suppose you are correct, sir, but I am curious to know who my attacker IS. Or is that too much of a plain request?"She asked that question out of her own amusement. It was just strange to her that a person did not introduce themselves when asked the question of who he or she was.

She snorted as he thrust his head foreward, and she raised her eyebrows. Did he think her scared of him? Of what he had done, perhaps. Of him? No. Not in the least. Sayali looked at him, "Were you, perchance, trying to scare me? If so, it was a pathetic attempt. Or were you trying to get me to show you this?" She flipped the small blade from its hilt with practiced ease.

It revealed a beautifully crafted silver hilt, a garnet embedded into the part where hilt met blade. The blade was sharp, and its blade was crafted of diamond, built to be strong, and always was sharp, because she never allowed it to dull. "It is a simple blade." She said, smiling a cold, yet amused smile towards AC.

[Blaze]

AC laughed a bit saying "Plain... there are no stupid questions, only stupid people". AC took a step closer saying "Forgive me, My name is Armous Core, AC, sweet and short". AC's blank red eyes stared into Sayali's oceanic blue, Fire staring down Water, this would prove to be fun... who would blink first "Ok... so thats how its gona be....". AC suddenly made a series of funny faces without breaking eye contact, He somehow changed from a serious attitude to a playfull one... how the hell could a simple things like a staring contest change his state of mind and attitude he'd never know...

AC slowly stopped with the funny faces and said "This is getting boring...". AC didint like things that werent fun. "Anyways... what were we talking about?? oh yes. Scare you... well now, thats for me to know and for you to find out now isint it and yes, its very simple and id have to say that beautifying it was a bit of a waste, whats the point of decorating a blade when its only going to be covered in blood?". AC quickly pullled out his lighter and his flask of alcohol. AC lost grip on the lighter and accidently sent it up and quickly caught it making it look like he planned on doing that...

The lighter was larger the normal and made of pure silver. on one side was an oriental dragon, the body of a snake, scales of a carp, head of a camel, horns of a deer, the eyes of a hare, ears like a bull, a neck like an iguana, belly of a frog, paws like a tigers, and claws like an eagle. A lion-type mane decorates its neck, its chin, and each elbow. They also carry two antler-like horns on their wide-mouthed head, and two long whiskers spread out from their snout. the female dragon held a fan in its tail. on the other side was a white tiger. In many cases the dragon is combined with the tiger to represent heaven and earth. and on his flask was the same thing except on the other side it is combined with the phoenix to symbolize long life and prosperity. AC grined in a playfull and victorious way saying "Looks like i win this competion"

She listened to his words, slightly amused by them, though she showed it naught. "Forgive me, My name is Armous Core, AC, sweet and short". As he stepped foreward, she stepped back. Her oceanic eyes remained connected with his crimson, unwavering and unblinking. She did not like people so close to her, so she stepped back from AC. Then he began the faces. She raised a single brow in questioning, somewhat skeptic. 'How childish...'Saya thought, bemused.

"Anyways... what were we talking about?? oh yes. Scare you... well now, thats for me to know and for you to find out now isint it and yes, its very simple and id have to say that beautifying it was a bit of a waste, whats the point of decorating a blade when its only going to be covered in blood?". Saya sighed to herself. He really was odd, "The point of this blade, Mister Core, is not for it to be beautiful, but swift, accurate, and ever sharp. The diamond blade is no decoration, like the hilt. It just allows the knife to be better and cut deeper."

She returned the blade to its sheath, her eyes still locked on his. When he pulled out the lighter, her eye trained on that as it flipped up into the air, and then into his hand. She studied the decor of the metal with a craftsman's appraising eyes. She looked at the design, "It is indeed masterfully crafted, and the detail of the design is amazing." Sayali meant every word. The work was VERY well done, even she could not deny that. When he said he had won the contest she looked at him again, meeting his red pools, "I was unaware that we were IN a contest, Mr. Core."

[Blaze]

AC put away the lighter and flask then turned around and began walking. As AC walked away he said "Damn, your dence. Cute but dence". AC somehow became unamused with the girl, she was a little dence and he hated it when people didint call him AC. Blaz finaly said before disapearing amoungst the trees "ITS AC! and nothing else" and then he disapeared but just for fun let out 3 fire balls. Each they joined and became the body and head of a dragon, just for fun.
