| QUOTE ("Lunaroki") | | Say Zath, mind if I pick your brain for a minute? Some of us over on Magisterius Online are working on a shop to be run in Enwich and we're looking for a name for the shopkeep. She's got long black hair with blue highlights, one eye (violet), a wooden leg, likes to dress as a dominatrix, and keeps a large pet tarantula on her head. Her shop is a specialty/novelty shop that specializes in oddball and off-the-wall products, as well as some really eyebrow-raising stuff. We're looking for a salacious pun for her name. Think you can help us out? |
I'm presuming that you're looking for something along the line of "Pussy Galore" type names from Austin Powers (Felicity/Gillian Shagwell, Robin Spitz Swallows, Ivana Humpalot, Alotta Fagina, Dixie Normous, Fook Mi/Yu), Venture Brothers (Molotov Cocktease) or porn (Sindee Coxx, Heaven Lee, Jacklyn Lick, Anna Malle, Annie Sprinkle, Cherry Tart, Kimona Wanaleia)?
Well, the eye patch and peg leg suggest a pirate, which in turn suggests "Yardarm" as a surname. The peg leg also suggests "Peggie" as a first name, which suggests "Peggie Sue" (a relative of Mary Sue?), so how about Peggie Sioux Yardarm?
The Goth aspect reminds me of Morticia Addams from the Addams Family. Add the eye patch and you get "Patch" Addams.
Neither of those is particularly salacious, yardarms and bowsprits and other naughty-sounding nautical terms notwithstanding. That leaves spiders, which a popularly considered predators of flies, which is a homophone for the aperture in trousers provided for the male member.
"Tarantula" is a homophone for "tarantella", a type of dance, which has a nice feminine ring to it. So how about Tarantella Flycatcher?
Spiders don't actually consume flies, only the contents of the exoskeleton, so Flysucker might be not only more accurately descriptive, but also better serve your requirement for salaciousness.
I regret that I cannot be more helpful at this time.
