I've come across many discussions in the past couple of years that address this question and I'm curious to hear what other parents have to say on the matter. I personally am not raising my son as Pagan because I want the choice to be his own. However, I do share things with him and answer his questions about things related to the Paganism. He likes to join in on meditations and is very much into crystals and gems. If he wanted to practice, I would not prevent him but I wouldn't let him do anything related to magick just yet. What are your thoughts?

I have to agree with you Ivy.I will do the same when I have my children and by soon to be husband feels the same.He is also a witch and we both will make sure its the childs choice and they will be informed. We will have a room with a lock on it to keep the child from getting into anything they shouldn't,they will however can when they ask and we can be there. We want to keep them safe and protected. We have talked some about it and I know we will talk more.

I'm hoping to someday be able to fix up the attic and make myself a room up there. Right now my stuff is pretty much out in the open. I have a small black trunk that I keep stuff in, but it's not locked. Our attic isn't finished or anything, in fact, I've never even looked up there. My hubby has, but ever since I saw the movie The Grudge I can't bring myself to stick my head up there (it's a small opening in the closet like in the movie). lol.gif

Im not gonna force my beliefs on my son but it is a traditinal belief for me and now my son is two he is growing up around our beliefs.
He is showing signs of believing already and he will make his choice up in his own time.
