Dear Friends,

I would to ask if anyone here would be interested in playing Napoleonic / 18th-19th Century era Games ?

I would be willing to work on this if there is interest, by organizing a seminar on rules and miniature collection / building. We could look at both commercial games / miniatures, and free rules / paper minis from the internet, then play a demonstration game. There are many free rules in the internet. I'd suggest though we go with the classic HG Wells rules "Little Wars"

If there is very serious interest, I am willing to dust off my Prince August and Meisterzinn 54mm/40mm moulds and produce lead miniatures, and provide them to players at "friendship" prices !

I am currently based abroad, but will be back home January 2013. If there is interest we could discuss this first in the board, then have our seminar then.

Cheers,

Gary

Once again Gary, i would gladly participate. When i was in Panama I took a set of RISK and with a friend we started painting the pieces and mounting them to use them as tokens in the old boardgame Waterloo!! we never finished as we ran out of pieces but it was a start.

There is a good boardgame called the eagle and the lion......napoleons battles. I was putting my eye on a copy but if theres a chance of doing some wargaming instead that would be better.

Ola Alfredo !

Sorry I only saw your post today, as I had not checked the MWPH Boards for a long time ! Am so glad you responded positively. I am in Geneva now, but will be home in Phl in January. Recently, I ordered the following Napoleonic rules and paper miniatures system, it's fantastic:

Paperbattles.com

Take a look and tell me what you think !

Hasta luego !

Gary
