The tail looks completely pillow shaded. Where's the light source supposed to be?

I was trying to help you improve it...

hurr durr, college courses of 3D modeling
did i also mention its WIP? he doesnt even have a face yet, why would i get into detailing? right now he's a general shape (you should seen how it started) --------------------

I wasn't talking about the texture. I was talking about the mesh. It looks like a giant pillow.
Ya so what you basically do is model the object as best as you can via mesh editing, then sculpt small details into it to give it that detail that the normalmap really makes stand out.
