Old one just disappeared one day. Guessing a commish must've deleted it. New one's almost done though. I think it's missing 2-3 teams at this point.

From now until August 6th, FA signings will be closed. After that date we will conduct waivers for a week.

Honestly trying to avoid ruffling feathers, but I'm a bit confused. The rules allow for UFA signings "in the off-season and regular season but not after the trade deadline and playoffs."
Why the freeze? Is there another rule change on the horizon? |

The freeze is so the 'good' teams don't snag all the players shuffled out of the 'good' teams when the roster cuts are made. I probably should have froze it earlier. I just want to see the lesser teams possible get a few of the better players who will be released.
