Mi Casa Es Su Casa is a new web series - my third, to be exact - debuting in July 2009. The setting is Los Angeles or more specifically the T-TV studios where the cast and crew of a new telenovela convene. The series "Pasion De Corazon" is bilingual - broadcasted in both English and Spanish and airs 6 days a week in primetime. It is the very first of its kind in the States. The concept was conceieved by media mogul Gary Murray, who is this generation's Aaron Spelling.

The actual series "Mi Casa" was conceived recently out of boredom and my desire to attempt another - hopefully, more successful - online web soap opera. I only know a little Spanish so expect 99% of the series to be in English. I will provide translations if I use any Spanish. I love to watch the Spanish telenovelas on Telemundo because of the big action, the big hair, and the big emoting. Its quite good entertainment though I understand little of it. This is my idea to bring the telenovela world to you, "broadcast" in English. Many of my stars have acted on American soap operas and also a few on Spanish telenovelas.

The majority of my cast is Hispanic or of some Hispanic origin. Amongst the characters, you will find your backstabbers, your divas, your debutantes, your serial philanderers, and more.

The series will air every Friday night. So sit back and enjoy the show!

Sounds like an interesting concept for sure. Totally off topic here as I'm not sure it's the place to ask, but are you going to resurrect Tapestry as well? Maybe in the fall perhaps? Either way I am eager to see how this one goes. It sounds like a very original idea!

You can definitely ask here. I want to revive Tapestry desperately because IMO there was so much potential there but the muse is fighting it for some reason. She likes these two right now and I have promised my readers that they will get at least a full season of both this and its sister soap, Some Kind of Wonderful. I have written about 4 scripts for each now and have plotted the rest so I can't and won't leave you all hanging again. Plus I have invested so much time in making promos, graphix and vids for these that I want to see it through. If/when I do bring back Tapestry it will make a grand return in 2010 I think. A very grand return for the readers waiting so long for an update.

Sorry for the rambling but I do thank you for your continued interest and willingness to follow me through my weird ideas.

Viva la "Mi Cass Es Su Casa"! I'm so excited for this. It's totally original and I can't wait to see what all the shenanigans are lol.
