It is 1977.
The Wizarding world is in danger - grave danger. People are dying and disappearing left and right - Muggles and wizards alike. It makes no difference to the one who calls himself Lord Voldemort. It makes no difference to his followers, the Death Eaters.
Albus Dumbledore has recruited some brave wizards to join a secret organization to fight against Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters called the Order of the Phoenix. But will the Order be able to stop the insane chaos that Lord Voldemort is wreaking on the world?
It is currently September of 1977. The Marauders & Co. are returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their seventh - and final - year of schooling.
The weather is currently chilly and rainy outside. Wearing warm clothes when heading outdoors is the best idea right now - unless you enjoy being wet, of course.

DUNGEONS & SUB-LEVELS ,
beneath hogwarts castle lies the dungeons and the sub-levels. to reach the dungeons, one must take the narrow stone staircase form the entrance hall, where one will find the corridor leading to the potion master's office, classroom, and private store room along with the slytherin common room. another staircase located to the right of the entrance hall leads towards the kitchens and the hufflepuff common room.

GROUND FLOOR ,
once you enter hogwarts castle, you will immediately see the marble staircase leading to the first floor. on either side of that staircase stand doors that lead down to the dungeons or the kitchens depending on which one you take. the right wall holds another set of doors leading to the great hall and the other side of the entrance hall holds another door that leads to the classrooms and a separate door to the courtyard. the caretaker's office also lies here, as does a broom closet.

FIRST FLOOR ,
the first floor holds the infamous hospital wing, used regularly by those constantly getting injured, especially those quidditch players. but one can always just fall asleep in the lovely class of history of magic, where professor binns drones on and on about nothing anyone is remotely interested in. or perhaps, if you're interested in muggles, muggle studies is the class for you. and the one subject that many hogwarts students love -- defense against the dark arts: it's located here as well.

SECOND FLOOR ,
the second floor of hogwarts school is somewhat empty. the defense against the dark arts professor's office lies on this floor, but there's nothing much to look at. that is, unless you'd like to visit the infamous out-of-order girl's bathroom which houses moping, miserable, whiny moaning myrtle. so i really wouldn't advise anyone to linger in this floor for too long ...

THIRD FLOOR ,
in the third floor of hogwarts lies the charms classroom where the class of charms is taught by little professor flitwick. along with the classroom lies the trophy room, where one can find trophies and medals won by thousands of hogwarts students who studied at the school previously. opposite the trophy room lies the armor gallery.

FOURTH FLOOR ,
here in the fourth floor of hogwarts school lies the library, a sanctuary for all the readers of the school. this results in the fourth floor being the quietest of all -- madam pince does not stand for noisy students in or around her library. one can also find the girls' and boys' washrooms on this floor as well.

FIFTH FLOOR ,
probably the least used floor in hogwarts school (that is, unless you're a prefect, quidditch captain, or head), the fifth floor of hogwarts is home to the prefect's bathrooms, requiring a password to get in. don't even think of making trouble around here, though -- unless you want to get into a big fix.

the sixth floor is pretty much empty. there's almost nothing here except for the girls' and boys' bathrooms. it's quite a boring floor, actually. nobody goes here much.

SEVENTH FLOOR ,
the seventh floor houses many rooms, quite contrary to the fifth and sixth floors. here lies the hidden room of requirement, the gryffindor common room, as well as flitwick's office. oh, and let's not forget the divination classroom! there are also a bunch of corridors here for any hogwarts student to wander around in.

THE TOWERS ,
hogwarts castle holds many towers, including the owlery, in the west tower, the north tower, the astronomy tower, the headmaster's office and residence, and finally, the ravenclaw common room. students visit the towers to see the headmaster or send an owl to family, and sometimes for their astronomy class -- occasionally in the dead of the night.

THE BLACK LAKE ,
the black lake is located to the south of hogwarts castle, which stands on a cliff overlooking the water. many creatures reside in this beautiful lake, the most famous being the giant squid. anyone may take a swim here, but the water can get very cold during the winter, so you'd better be careful.

students of hogwarts love to come outside and relax on the lawns during weekends and free periods. the sloping lawns lead towards the forbidden forest and border the lake. the wide flat lawn opposite the castle leads to hagrid's hut.

THE FORBIDDEN FOREST ,
the forbidden forest lies to the east of hogwarts castle, strictly off limits to hogwarts students except in the occasion of a care of magical creatures lesson or a detention. it is thick with trees and home to a wide variety of creatures, ranging from acromantula to centaurs.

THE QUIDDITCH PITCH ,
the quidditch pitch lies on the opposite side of the castle from the forbidden forest. all inter-house quidditch matches are played here, and quidditch players occasionally come here to practice flying or just relax.

THE WHOMPING WILLOW ,
a favorite hang-out of the marauders, the whomping willow is a large and magical but terribly violent tree. it is rooted to the spot but will lash out at anyone who wanders to near by to it. this tree, though, can be temporarily disabled by pressing a knot in its trunk. even so, i wouldn't advise you to get too near it.

THE GREENHOUSES ,
hogwarts houses at least four greenhouses where the class of herbology is occasionally taken by professor sprout. among many others, the greenhouses have housed honking daffodils, leaping toadstools, snargaluffs, abyssinian shrivelfigs, mandrakes, puffapods, fanged geraniums, and a venomous tentacula.

HOGSMEADE STATION ,
hogsmeade station is the closest train stop to hogwarts school. the hogwarts express stops here from king's cross every year, letting out all the students who are taken by the thestrals or over the black lake to hogwarts for the beginning of the new school year.

HONEYDUKES SWEETSHOP ,
this is one of the most famous wizarding sweetshops in the wizarding world. it is owned by ambrosius flume and his wife, who reside over the shop. there is a secret entrance from hogwarts that leads to honeydukes cellar. honeydukes sells a wide variety of sweets, including acid pops, chocolate frogs, licorice wands, bertie bott's every flavor beans, ice mice, jelly slugs, cockroach clusters, and many many more. hogwarts students love to visit this shop.

zonko's is another favorite of hogwarts students, especially those loving to play pranks and fool around. they carry jokes and tricks to fulfill the wildest dreams of any hogwarts student, including dungbombs, nose-biting teacups, hiccup sweets, frog spawn soap ... you name it -- it'll be there!

THE THREE BROOMSTICKS ,
madam rosmerta owns the three broomsticks, a great spot to relax and feast on some butterbeer -- though that's not the only thing they sell. it's a wonderful, toasty pub and it gets extremely crowded during the winter, when wizards and witches want somewhere warm to rest.

madam puddifoot owns a small, cramped teashop somewhere in hogsmeade village; young couples love (or something) to visit this shop. on valentine's day it is decorated quite horrendously, but couples enjoy it.

THE SHRIEKING SHACK ,
reputed to be the most haunted house in britain, the shrieking shack gets its name from the terrifying screams and shouts that come from it. the windows are completely boarded up and the dark lawn it owns is overgrown. all entrances are sealed, and even the hogwarts ghosts avoid it.

THE HOG'S HEAD ,
the hog's head is a small inn in hogsmeade, on a side street off the main street, and it's much dirtier than the three broomsticks. it consists of a small, dingy room, and it is somewhat of a fashion in the hog's head to cover one's face when one enters, normally by wearing a hood or a veil. it attracts a much different clientele than the three broomsticks.
