It's happening again... One of those weird dreams...

Soon, Hoshi woke up with a start, gasping and breathing heavily. It was another one of those dreams... Each time she had them, she felt something stirring in his brain... It scared her. This one was the most frightening as, like all the others, he saw it through the boy's own eyes. The creeping water slowly rising with her fear, the elation that the pokemon would be okay, the slowly creeping death... He put a paw to her chest, almost certain that she was close to actually dieing there. The scariest thing is... that it feels like I know that person... wait, what's a person? The little pokemon was hating this whole 'unknown knowledge' thing. It was driving him nuts. Lately, words were popping up that she didn't know of before. Trainer, human... why did all of them appear in his mind now?! He shook her head, as if to clear it, and tried to focus on the real problem.

Yesterday, she had been dared to go into the Amethyst Caves, a network of underground tunnels that linked to places all over Lunalei. There were scary monsters too, or at least the kids had rumors about them, but she hadn't really seen any... Maybe she was lucky? No... lucky pokemon don't get lost... Her stomach gurgled as she looked around, praying there was someone else here. Maybe a tribe or a pack lived in the caves? It didn't matter which now... She just didn't want to be in the darkness any longer.

A cool breeze blew through the air. Faint, eerie noises could be heard around you, and with it being almost pitch-black made it even scarier. The only light were the small glints of hiding crystals buried deep in the earthen tunnels. However, it was unknown these small flickers of light were beautiful gems; after all, most would suspect that small glimmers of light were supposedly dangerous when everything else around you sounded like the cries and breaths of a monster lurking nearby...

All of a sudden, a much larger light flashed in the distance, and one again cool air blew past your face. The eerie howls.. creepy sound... would this be the end? Or maybe it was a Pack or Tribe passing by who accidentally caused the scary feelings. It was unknown, and would stay that way unless you chose to investigate...

She wasn't sure why she was here, but something compelled her to come here.. maybe it was a sudden emotion hat clung to her mind. But whatever it was she decided to see with all her senses. This lead hr to a cave, however not just any cave but Amethyst caves. A beautiful yet dangerous place where she felt she could get lost and never leave... Pondering what she was doing there she stumbled upon another pokemon. Curious she decided to speak. "Hello?" She mewed.

Hoshi gasped as the female espeon/Vaporeon hybrid came up to her, a little scared. However, she relaxed, even though they were on different sides, her being a tribe pokemon and the new person being a pack pokemon, it seemed. Considering she was on all fours... The female gulped and said, "Um, hello..." She looked down for a few seconds and then back up, asking, "Are you lost too?"

"Pretty lights~, pretty lights~, I see you~... Pretty lights~, pretty lights~...do-dee-do dee-do~"

Jagoda was singing merrily to herself as she trotted through the caverns more or less aimlessly. This place was all sparkly and prettyful! She'd found a small entrance, just her size, and come down here to investigate whether there were such things as underground berries and fruits. So far, she'd found some weird mold that glowed, but it didn't bear fruit...that was a disappointment.

...Or maybe underground-fruit was supposed to be flat like that? Oooh! She should have taken some with her! It'd had a really interesting flavor, too, like nothing she'd tasted from all the fruits and berries Jagoda had ever eaten above ground! Phooey! She'd just have to grab some the next time she found some, Jagoda decided with a swift nod of her head.

Right now she was exploring, looking for any sign of berries and fruits and other interesting things. The entrance she'd used was far behind her, but Jagoda wasn't worried even a smidgen! She had some berries in the little bag her Da had given her before she left home, and there were some roots in there too (not as fun as berries, but good for eating when you were in a sad situation with no fruit or berries). A few Shimeri might do for averting hunger in a pinch, but you weren't really supposed to eat 'em...and if everything else failed, Jagoda could eat the glowing mold-fruit down here! Yippee!

She paused when the tunnel she was in forked. Hmm, which way to go next? Let's see... Jagoda blinked and turned her head as she hear a funny sound echoing down one of the passages. Why, that sounded like a voice! Or maybe two voices! There were others down here besides Jagoda?!

"I bet they'll have some BERRIES!" Jagoda squealed aloud in joy, ignoring any chance of stealth in her excitement, "Time to find out...'cause here I COME!"

With that declaration, she scampered down the tunnel towards the sounds, all her leafy-bits rattling around as she ran. She was a fast runner, too, she'd probably reach the voices really quickly unless they were way too far away!
