Maribel usually hated grocery shopping on Satuday at the Piggly Wiggly in Vinton, Loosiana.
One day, her hubs, Thibedeaux, volunteered to do the shopping. When they returned, her kids were slightly disheveled and high on adrenalin. Thibedeaux volunteered every Saturday after that. Maribel could not stand the curiosity and one Saturday drove down to PW after Thibedeaux left. As she entered the store she heard the store PA system say: "The yellow flag is out at the end of aisle 3." It was then she spotted the banner. SHOPPING CART RACES EVERY SATURDAY AT NOON. LIMIT OF 3 KIDS PER CART. It was then she heard the distinctive voice of her fragile, introvert daughter yelling out; FASTER, DADDY, FASTER! DON'T LET THAT GUY CATCH US!
