Seeing the reaction from a certain jrg1990 today, we've come to a decision about the Lost Lovers Board.

It will not be returning in it's prior form. This is for a number of reasons.

1) People like jrg1990 are quick to bark and give me crap about what an idiot and a jackass I am, yet probably have no concept of the amount of how difficult it is to actually keep a board that vast running smoothly, keep everyone happy when they're all bitching about each other to you, and the general bullshit and grief I had to put up with on a daily basis. Quite frankly, we don't want unappreciative people like yourself anywhere near our new board, and thus we won't be linking to it from here. The only people who would benefit from a link here would be former LLB members and they seem quite happy at Lostnblonde's board, so they can stay there with their devious little leader.

2) We have come to the decision that there's no point making yet another dedicated Lost board. There's so many out there and there's no point when the show is this far along and quite possibly ending after the next season. Our new board will still be television based, but will instead be devoted to ALL television shows. Chances are that most Lost viewers have other favourite shows too and why just have a little subforum for each one when it could instead have it's own dedicated area? The new board will cover 24, Lost, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, South Park, Jericho, CSI, House, The Sopranos, The War At Home, Til Death, The Wire, American Idol, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?, Cold Case, Entourage, My Name Is Earl, Without A Trace, Law and Order, The Office, and a whole lot more- including new shows such as Fox's 'Drive' (premiering Sunday April 15th with a 2 hour showing at 8/7C). We will also cover UK TV shows such as Doctor Who, Skins, Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and more... This will attract a much, much broader variety of people and has the aim of becoming a centralised hub to discuss all your favourite TV shows! We are also breaking free from the reigns of Invisionfree boards, as there are far too many downsides to their boards as was discovered on LLB. My current three man team consists of personal friends I've known for a long time, rather than random people I've met on the internet and made quick judgments about (look where that can land you...). This will ensure a much better run staffing situation.

And 3) Lost Lovers Board was just a crap name, wasn't it?

Regardless of any personal issues, thankyou to all who participated in the Lost Lovers Board (even Brent!). It was my first message board and considering we attracted more members in a few short months than most message boards have in much longer space of time, I wouldn't consider it a total failure. I've learnt many valuable lessons which we will be applying at the new board! Your time and efforts spent on some unique projects were certainly unexpected, but very welcome at the same time. To everyone who was a staff member, thanks for the time you donated. I'm sorry that the board was closed so suddenly on you all, but circumstances forced my hand. If you disagree with that, then so be it but I've realised that this is not the place to be airing grievances with people. It's time to move on.
