Someone already took Aladdin, but you can ask them about it. Because I think it was either Wish upon the Stars or Midnight Starfire, or SOMEONE took Aladdin.
Beauty and the Beast? Where Link is originally Shadow Link, and he gets kicked outta towns cause he looks so evil? Blade II: Link is a vampire hunter! And he kicks ass! (Watch Link unleash can of whoop-chang) And Zellie can be a vampire.  (I noe...it aint fairytale...)Puss in Boots: HAHAH! NAVI IS PUSS! AHAHAHAHA! Ack! Are you serious? When did they start it? Because my Aladdin one has been up for at least a year. Hylian Nights? That one is mine. I haven't finished it yet. . . I didn't know someone else had started an Aladdin fic. . . grrr. . . did they steal my idea or is it coincidence?
I like the Beauty and the Beast idea. That could make a really interesting Zelink fic. . . Rapunzel (arg, can't spell that name ) would also be a nice idea. . .Zelda with ultra long hair!  Maybe you should write the Blade one. I would read it! MY profile is hard to find? Grrr. .. *kicks fanfiction* It's been acting oddly lately. I think they're working on the site again because it won't let me review and update stuff, so they have to be working on something. |

Yeah, they were. AND it was kinda hard. There are multiple Alanties. Soooo...I found you, after awhile. Din't worry.
You'd have to find me first. Do you know who I am? Blade...ooh, I'd have to watch it first! Maybe, super-powered vampire finds key to releasing ultimate drampire (cross dragon with vampire) Ganon...and Link is half-vampire hunter...that might be confusing... lol, Rapunzel and Twinrova. Hmm...what about Pinnochio! That would be funny! Link grows an extra long nose, and is a talking wooden puppet. He begins to "grow" and as hes "grows" meets a girl called Zelda, who always looks at him from outside the shop? I dunno... Pull a Tarzan, Link's a wild guy living outside of civilisation. And make it up from there... Do Puss In Boots! With Navi as puss! She's always annoying other people! |

 Nah, that doesn't sound too confusing! I've never seen Blade myself, so I dunno how it goes. . . But a half dragon vampire?! That sounds friggen AWESOME!!! *glee* You have to write it now! Ahahaha! I like the idea of Pinnochio! Link as a wooden puppet, lol. And Navi as the blue fairy. . . ah, it would be a cute idea! And Ganny is a bully who tries to set the puppet Zelda loves on fire!! 0_0!!! *falls over laughing* A Tarzan Link? *imagines Link swinging from the trees in a loincloth, grunting with gorillas, then cracks up* I LOVE it! Zelda as Jane, and Ganny as the evil hunter of course. . .Ah, I'm afraid I don't remember the original fairy tale for Puss in Boots. All I can recall is the Puss from Shrek. . . Hmmm. . . lets see. . . Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Zelda has to look after the Kokiri children! That would be funny! Annnnnnnnnnnddddd. .. . Rumplestilskin! Or however you spell that insane name . . . NAvi is the evil fairy who wants to steal Zelda and Link's child!!! Unless Zelda can guess her name. . . ha, I could do a bunch of fairy tale oneshots, instead of turning them into long epic-y type things. That would be fun! |

Puss in Boots: The King and his daughter are riding out through the forest. The Miller's kid sees the Priness and thinks shes so pwetty. So Puss decided to help them get married, and tells his master (the Miller's son) to go and bathe in the lake where the King usually rides past in his carriage. Puss then stops the King (who has his daughter with him) and tells the King that his master, the Duke of "somewhere" has had all hsi clothes stolen. The King then gives Puss some of his best clothes, who gives them to his master, the "Duke" (Miller's kid). The "Duke" looks mighty fine after getting a new wardrobe, and Puss rushes off. He finds some farmers working for a landlord who is a giant, and demands they say that they work for the "Duke of Somewhere" or he'll eart them. Then he goes to the Giant, and asks him to transform into a lion, then, as a challenge, because he's so big, asks him to transform into a tiny animal like a mouse. Once he transforms, Puss eats him, and goes to the top of the tower, and proclaims that this is the Castle of the "Duke". By now, Puss and the King think that the Princess and the "Duke" are a great couple, and have them married, and they live happily ever after.
PS: Puss gets salmon, cream and a cushion to sleep on every day. Hmmm...Rapunzel would be funny...I can't do Blade in a oneshot. It's too long. Red Riding Hood, Hoodwinked style! I'll make a convoluted attempt at that! Tom Thumb? Instead of killing all the daughters he saves one, and they have a really rocky relationship when he tells her that he is the reason why her sister's died? If you don't remember, I'll post the story up. |

I was thinking of doing Beauty and the Beast myself once Twilight Princess came out.
Beast would have been wolf Link. Well. I wanted to see the various facets of the transformation process, and I'd have written B&tBeast once I was done with TP. But if someone else wanted to do it...  In the same idea, Wolf Link could play a nice role in Red Riding Hood. Somehow, I never saw the wolf as the bad guy. And the predator aspect could make it a nice older-teen story... ::cackle:: |

Well, I'll leave it to you, then. But even if someone tries to write a another fairytale adaptation, I'm going to do mine. Because they're fun.
And it's a lot easier to adapt a storyline than it is to create one. ::nods at Hylian Kings::  |
