I found this on my computer, apparently I wrote this XD. PLease bare in mind, yes, my name is Anna...I mention myself in here A rant on the pirates franchise, because they are amazing. Also bare in mind that if some things don't make sense, you either have never seen the movies, or I was just too lazy to upload the picture I had with it.....

Aaaaaa yes, Pirates of the Caribbean. Just hearing that name wants me to start quoting my favorite lines from the movies, but I’m going to spare you all right now. (Especially you Kathryn). But anyway, I think that it’s easy to say that Pirates of the Caribbean is the all time best movie franchise ever created!
Weirdo: Ummmm actually, I think the godfather is-
Anna: ‘kicks weirdo in the shin’ pay no attention to the idiot duct taped to the wall. Now the first order of business, I think that we should take a poll. Who here saw Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End at the midnight showing? ‘looks around and starts cursing in jibberish at the lack of hand raised’ Oh boy, I think we have a LOT of work to do. But if you did see the movie at midnight, you might have seen me. I was the abnormal one sword fighting her friend, singing A Pirates Life For Me, and quoting the first 2 movies. Yes, I can be weird sometimes.
Anna’s friends: Psh, sometimes?
Anna: Precisel- hey! ‘gives friends evil stare.’ But yeah, I like being weird, its fun. Now in simple terms, Pirates of the Caribbean is a three movie franchise about Pirates. hahahah NO! That is the answer you will get if you ask a douchebag on the street what Pirates of the Caribbean is. But fortunately, I am writing this for all those sad little people. Who knows! Maybe your one of them! O_o. But yes, that is why you are reading this, and that is why I am working my butt off to type this out. I have to go take a quick few minute break!- ‘Gets to caught up watching too much Pokemon and The Legend of Zelda TV Show’




Sorry about that people. But my hands needed a break. Now before I introduce everyone to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I would like to say that nothing in the world can lead up to the amazingness of Pirates of the Caribbean. Ido not own it and I did not buy it. Pirates of the Caribbean belongs to Disney. Now I think it’s time for POTC lecture.



Yes, the movie that started it all, Pirates of the Caribbean the Curse of the Black Pearl. It’s easy to say think that people thought that this movie was going to be lame. Why? Because it is based off of a Disneyland ride, and the last movie that was based on a Disneyland ride was a total flop. (The Country Bears.) Yes most people thought this was going to be some cheap crap from Disney. But instead, the movie critics were mesmerized, and billions of Pirates of the Caribbean fans were born. This movie was too amazing for words. It was so amazing that old man Jenkins got a heart attack! Yes this movie is among the best of the best. So…. what spawned this movie? Well let’s see….
The movie dates back all the way back to the 90’s when Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio first pitched there ideas for the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Disney rejected the idea because some weird muppet Treasure Island movie was being made. Somehow Steven Spielberg got a hold of the script and was planning to cast Robin Williams, Bill Murray, or Steve Martin as Jack Sparrow. Aaaaaaaa! ‘Drowns herself in sink’ NO! If I saw one of those three actors in a Jack Sparrow costume, I would throw up my popcorn and knock over every trash can in the theatre. Now I am a huge fan of Spielberg’s work, but he would not have done a good job at directing this movie. Sorry Stevie!  But luckily, Gore Verbinski signed on for the job and Pirates of the Caribbean was born, and thankfully, Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow! Yay! Throws confetti, swallows confetti, chokes on confetti, passes out.
Ok so where was I? Oh yes! That’s pretty much the history behind the movie. Now what I’m not going to do is tell everyone about the story or the plot of the movie, because
A: I’m being really lazy right now
B: that would just lose the point, you should actually go out and watch it yourself
Now the first time I watched this movie, I was in 3rd grade. I watched it with my brother at around say… dark? Yes, I was only 8. You can’t blame me if I was scared. But yes, my parents would have never let me go to a pg-13 movie in theaters back then, so unlucky me. I have to watch it at home with…..my……brother….
So that this all brings me to the conclusion of the miraculous FIRST movie! haha! Yes! There’s more! Yay! ‘Starts dancing’



First of all, I would like to go over the reaction I had with the way this movie ended. It’s the comic over there if you’re wondering. Yes I was so mad, pissed off and totally joyful at the same time. I was mad because the Kraken ate Jack, I was pissed off because the ending was such a big cliff hanger, and I was joyful because I knew there had to be a third one! Yay!
Yes the storyline of Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest takes place about a month after the end of the first move. I can give you a guess at how many bottles of rum Jack drank over that time period. I mean geez laweeze! Did you see the size of the wine- err… rum cellar? And there was only one bottle left! O_o. Wow. Sorry I got off topic there. So we get to see some of the greatest CGI ever used in filmmaking with the wonders of Davy Jones and the Kraken. I thought Davy Jones was just the coolest and most unique character, Bill Nighy is amazing. Yes and don’t let me forget about the new curse! Bwahahaha! Behold the sea people! These guys were great. CGI is amazing aint it?
I was also very impressed by the Kraken. One of my favorite mythological monsters out there The Kraken gave me shivers and cheers, which is a great combination.
Yes I have to say, this was a very well done movie. The whole entire time I was either laughing, shivering, puking (it was a pretty gross movie), twitching, humming, or almost murdering the guy running the movie yelling THAT CAN”T BE THE END! Yes, I saw this movie around 3 or 4 times in theaters. Not as much as I had wished, but hey! Money’s tight, and my mom hates driving. But yes, this truly is a wonderful movie and I can’t wait to watch it for the 5,765th time!


Aaaa yes. At World’s End. No doubt, my favorite out in the franchise. I still remember counting down the days till its release in my old 6th grade locker. I also remember dressing up as Jack Sparrow the day it came out! I got a few stares that day….. But yes, I thought that this movie had the best of the best of the BEST! Yes three bests! That’s how good it was! Bwahaha! Sorry, I should stop drinking rootbeer. But anyway, one of my personal favorites about the 3rd movie was the soundtrack. I love listening to movie scores! Amazing! Totally inspiring! Yes, it makes you want to be a professional musician when you grow up. But anyway! I’m getting off subject here… again! But yes, as I said in the dead man’s chest section, I really think you couldn’t have better CGI than there is in this movie. The maelstrom almost made me pass out because it looked so dang realistic! Yes, At Worlds End brought up so many of us to the top of Pirates of the Caribbean fanatics! With an amazing script, awesome acting, and a great look see of Jack’s father, Captain Teague, this movie definitely the best movie ever made!
Weirdo: I still think the Godfather-
Anna: Who unducttaped the douche! ‘Takes out key and unlocks large door revealing thousands of rolls of ductape.’ That’d outta shut him up. But yes, Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End gets two thumbs up from me! If I had opposable toes, I’d lift those too!
But don’t forget folks, this is just the beginning! Still not convinced, well let’s take a look see at one of my favorite parts in the whole movie. Up is Down! Yes, the song and the scene still both amaze me. I thought this was cleverly written and done. I mean, who else can think of rocking your ship until it flips to get back to the world of the living? Why, Jack Sparrow can! This scene, with the wonderful score in the background, really makes my heart skip.
Now that I’m done talking about how amazing this movie is, let me talk about the plot.
MADE YOU LOOK! HAHA! Did you really think that I’d lose my standards? Go see the movie yourself people. Don’t be one of those weirdoes that actually read these kind of things hoping to just find out the storyline! Sorry, I’m feeling cruel right now. But yes, I give this movie 10 out of 5 stars! Heck! Make it 50 stars! I Love this movie! Everybody loves this movie! End of story!
Sorry, you thought I was finished didn’t you? You probably already ordered the piñata to celebrate that I finally stopped rambling, but no! I am not done! I forgot to mention Chow Yun Fat! Now this guy, did such a good job in acting. Sao Feng was one of the most realistic characters in the bunch. I just HAD to give him snaps. ‘Tries to snap, but can’t, tries even more, but breaks a finger.’ Ow. Anyway, yes, I am done. I leave this passage with a wonderful picture from the third movie.


Yes, I am making this one short, but YES! There might be a 4th movie! Yay! ‘Dances even worse than before.’ rumors have been flying around the internet that a 4th movie might come up around 2011. Dang! I’m gonna be 16! Well maybe then I can drive, so I could see the movie as much as I want. But most believe it is going to be about the adventures of Jack and Barbossa going after the Fountain of Youth, which is shown on the map at the end of the 3rd movie. Now unfortunately, Keira Knightley said that she would not be interested in making a 4th film. Also, Orlando Bloom expressed no interest in making a fourth movie either. Luckily, Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush did express interest in a 4th movie. I guess we’ll just have to see in the future!



Now we are going to see what me and my friends- Jackie, Kathryn, Erin, and Emily think about the movies!

Anna, whose fingers are killing her, and eats sleeps and breathes POTC: Well, let’s see, I spent a LOT of time doing this and the fact that I watch the movie like every day I’m gonna say this: LONG LIVE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!!!! 

Jackie, whose trying to sound smart: Yes, I do believe they were great movies. The perpetually of the plot was amazing. The sweet sound of the orchestra made a wonderful touch. Yes these truly are wonderful movies. I highly recommend them for anyone.

Kathryn, who would rather talk about X-Men: Yeah, their good movies. I liked them. But they aren’t as good as X-Men! ‘Gets beat up by Anna’

Erin, whose feeling somewhat insane: Bwahahahahahaha!
Anna: I need new friends

Short and sweet Emily: Yes, I like them a lot.

I leave on a happy note, hoping that you all now believe that Pirates of the Caribbean is truly one of the greatest franchise out there.
