Link/Ruto is interesting, but it doesn't make much sense anatomically, in my opinion. It would be like a human dating a fish. A very beautiful fish, but still a different species.

It is hot. And I honestly believe that TP!Ganondorf would be very gentlemanly and cordial with her. It'd be mocking, of course, but I don't think he'd ever have ill intentions for her. At least til she stopped being useful. And besides after chasing after (basically) the same girl for god knows how long, something is bound to develop.

On TP Link, since he's really the only Hylian in Ordon, I tend to believe he has no blood relation to anyone there.
At first, I thought Ilia was Hylian too because of some artwork, but in-game she's not. Which makes me think Nintendo does love making us fight, for if she did end up with pointy ears, some would've said she's his brother, or half brother, or whatever.
But no: 3 female side-stories. Let us watch you fight over the possible pairings.

I do say SC2 Link is the same as OoT. Some sort of game candy for the Nintendo fans.
Exact same tunic, sword thingie, hair, nose, boots, ocarina... and attitude, I'm guessing.

SC II wise, I saw a Link X Talim once. I don't enjoy making SC pairings, but I did accidently make a creepy one:
Link X Ivy.
I kept loosing and incidentally she had that ''swimsuit'' uniform, so I screamed: ''how can a straight guy win against Miss No Pants???''
But... *Shudders* Stay with Zelda, boy.

I did always wonder why Ganondorf took so much care of Zelda. Captured her and all, but never really harmed her. (Game wise anyway).
Even in Wind Waker, when he had the chance to kill her while fighting Link, he simply slapped her unconscious and went back to trying to stab our green-clad hero.
She was harming him with her Light Arrows, for crying out loud! He didn't have a use for her anymore either as far as I'm concerned. Or did I miss something?
Ok, so she was a child, but you get the idea. He doesn't seem to hate her as much as he wants us to believe.
I don't think he finds her repulsive.
I do think she does.
Anyone seen Survivor Hyrule on DA or Newgrounds? *chuckles*

Thinking about it seriously though, the Legend of Zelda is more than what it seems.

Link X Ruto... Apart from the fact that the Zoras lay eggs.. Nuff said.
It was fun while it lasted though.
Except when she kept complaining inside Jabu-Jabu about being left behind.

Another pairing that I support and is a bit odd is Fierce Deity/Zelda. It doesn't matter if it's Fierce Deity LINK or just Fierce Deity. Besides, I love to make fun of FD's height. Especially if he's compared to child Zelda who hardly reaches his tunic's hem when standing.

Bottom line OOT Link doesn't show any romantic interest in Zelda either outside of emotional attachment more associated to friendship. Since Link is considered an avatar, its up to the individual player to decide who Link ends up with romantically and who is just a close friend. So in my personal theory for Link, Malon is his wife/lover and Zelda is his best friend teacher/mentor providing Link with sagely wisdom and guidance.

But yeah GanonxZelda is HOTT. Besides...I imagine Ganon is more likely to ask Zelda out on a date than the soft spokenly shy and gentle natured OOT & TP Links anyway. Again..nice guys finish last in romance anyway so why would OOT & TP Link be any different??

As for my preferred SC2 pairings for Link: Cassandra and Sophitia without a doubt.

On Link/Ruto - Ruto is a sapient being. She's human where it counts. So if Link wanted to hook up with her, he actually could. It'd be weird to us. But I think in the LoZ universe, Zoras are just another race. Not an entirely different species all together. So it's not like she's an actual fish. She just kind of looks like one :/

Sorry. Ganon and Zelda in TP IS NON-EXISTENT! IT DOES NOT EXIST-ONLY IN YOUR STORIES! Jeeze. how stupid are these pairings getting?
