Zelink vs Link/instert name *SPOLIERS*

To Malonslover: Yes, Malon/Link-it could happen. I mean-IF Link and Zelda just drifted apart, I wouldn't be suprised if Link settled down with her. (Of course, wilh Ilia, they would just make a gross couple ) But Malon is prettier and kinder-and she has a personalithy in comaprison to ILia. Although I used to hate it-I've grown to accept the NORMAL pairings with Link. I mean, Zelink is my fav, then Saria/child Link, Midna/Link and Malon/Link. The rest I don't like. I mean-you'll even find some of Peach/Link I like Peach, but I DO NOT like Peach/Link at all.

With LinkxDark Link the main theory I have read is that Link gets possesed by Dark Link and since Dark Link is just really Link anyway its as if Link is in love with himself. I don't want to be too R-rated but to put it in simplest terms Link is awakened to his dark manly urges by Dark Link and likes to touch himself.

I recall you mentioned ShadxZelda and though I have heard of it I have never read an essay explanation on how the theory works. I assume that since Shad is more of a conversational intellect he would have a lot more in common with the wise and all knowing Zelda than a rather soft spoken teenage country boy like Link. Normally I have read Shad being paired up with Ashi as an opposites attract romance and with Link as the off the wall gay romance.

But in OOT I like Link with Zelda, Malon, and even Nabooru. I think LinkxRuto is just gross and LinkxSaria involving pedophilia and child molesting is just plain sick. But Child LinkxSaria as innocent close friends is cool. In TP I like Link with Zelda, Midna, Hena, or Ashi. Though I can't stand LinkxIllia as you do, it would not be that unusual if Link eventually settled down with her. Also, most Illia fans like to use the beauty is on the inside arguement, but personally I didn't see much inner beauty with Illia did you?? I actually prefer LinkxTelma over LinkxIllia.

I know. I can't see her "beauty" pr "cuteness" at all. And I'm agirl- and a lot of my guy friends think she's ugly!

On Zelda X Shad, I remember a fanart about it. Beautiful fanart, but not the greatest idea I've seen so far.
(Writting this, my Link poster fell off. I guess he doesn't appreciate the idea either XD)
The illustrator didn't seem to be a fan of the princess either, saying she doesn't have enough personality for Link. :/
I couldn't help but to comment that a lot of people could argue that Link himself is pretty much personality-less too. XP *Glomps imaginary Link plushie* I know he's colorful inside. D:

Well..both of you are way better artists than me thats for sure. I'm more creative in writing than art but I like to look at art. If I could draw I would like to draw stuff like Frank Frazetta or John Howe.

Anyway..I know I'm hard on Illia but to me Link choosing her would mean he retired from the Hero business to return to being a goatherder in an outside province away from Hyrule. Its different to the way I see the LinkxMalon situation since Lon Lon ranch is WITHIN Hyrule and in relative equal proximity to Castle/Town, Kakariko Village, and the provinces of the Gorons, Zoras, Gerudos ect ect. OOT/MM Link would more likely be enabled to still work closely with Zelda and help her with protecting and providing the needs of the common people/diverse races of Hyrule and continue the life of the hero riding around with Epona in patrolling Hyrule and maintaining the frontier defenses.

I don't see how TP Link can do this in a LinkxIllia since Ordon is OUTSIDE of Hyrule and not WITHIN Hyrule as Lon Lon ranch is. I prefer TP Link to settle down with a random Hyrule Town maiden than return to Ordon to resume being a full time goatherder again but thats just me. For most Illia fans, Link continuing to be a goatherder is the whole point.

To Malonslover: Yes indeed. I agree. Ilia...is just nasty! I mean, after such an excitung adventture in TP, would he REALLY want to continue ranching and be with Ilia? No. I don't think so. Thta's why I think Zelda/Link in TP makes sense.
In OoT, I can see that Zelda/Link would make sense too. But then again, so does Malon/Link. Malon is about the most ordinary character there is. No powers. No status, really. Just a typical, pretty ranch girl. But I agree. Ilia is just so ugly. Zelda was so pretty in TP and Malon was pretty awesome, too.

I'm curious. Do you realize how bad you make your side of the fandom look? Behaving like you do? I mean really. It's okay not to like Ilia. But acting like this doesn't help your case any.

Oh honey, I am a very friendly person. Just about anyone here will tell you that. I do not have an issue with you. I was only curious. Disliking Ilia, and stating such is one thing. But you know, half the stuff you were saying constitutes bashing, which I'm pretty sure is against the rules here. And I was kind of hoping you'd have more of a reason than "Ilia is nasty". But ah, I suppose that was pretty silly of me. I'll go back to being pessimistic. That rarely lets me down.

I just hate her, find her the most useless piece of animation that Nintendo ever made. I mean, yes, TP was a good game. Did I like some of the characrers? Heck, no! You're 21 (I saw it on the sheik forum thing) 7 years older. I don't really care if people hate me, think I'm snooty or whatever.

As is your right, like I've said before. But it's unnecessary to harp on about it and bash her, especially if there are fans of her around here. You run the risk of offending someone. And I'm not entirely sure what my age has to do with anything. But okay.

To Chibizelda: Personally I have no problem with you bashing Illia as I feel the same way as you do. But I agree with Saami that rules are rules. To me these are just video game characters not real people but at the same time hurting peoples feelings is not cool. Then again I have no problem when some Zelinkers bash Malon and say stuff that she is too immature for Link and that she is bossy, whiny, and will somehow annoy Link because she is mentally incapable of doing anything for herself. Freedom of speech and all that jazz but normally Malon bashing goes unchecked IMO. But Saami is usually right about these things.
