Mikau and Lulu?, Did they have a relationship?

Exactly. And Mikau pretty much begged Link to get back Lulu's eggs for him (the humorous song and dance aside--really, if Mikau was on his deathbed, how would he have the energy to sing and dance?) while he was dying. If that's not an indication that Mikau's relationship with Lulu was more than platonic, then what is?

I've been replaying OoT and I plan to do MM next. XD

But I agree, the fact that it's Miku who goes after the eggs and not one of the others pretty much states that he has a personal interest in Lulu if not in the eggs themselves. I always figured that the eggs had to be his as well though- it doesn't seem logical that the female Zora would have eggs on their own without any input from the male, and that if a male was needed, Lulu would be with anyone but Miku.

That scene with Lulu and Miku though, them holding hands is the biggest indication in itself; the song of Healing brings peace to the troubled souls regarding the things that mattered most. With Darmani we see all the Gorons cheering for him; he takes care and protects them. With Miku it's Lulu in the forefront and then the rest of the band in the back. If that makes any sense.

Yes, it does make sense. But I don't seem to remember Mikau and Lulu holding hands. I remember Mikau and Lulu looking at each other, then joining the band. I'll have to look it up on YouTube.

EDIT: Okay, never mind; I saw a clip of when Mikau's soul is healed, and he and Lulu do hold hands.

You usually don't get physical contact like that in Zelda games unless they're close. XD But that just makes it all the more sad when Link leaves, because then Lulu will lose the last part of Miku that she has. D:

I may be a heartless betch, but I was sort of glad that Mikau died. I mean, I would have been right chuffed if he had been brought back to life, but the bittersweet scene in the end, with Zora Link taking Mikau's place in the Indigo-go's, but with us knowing that Mikau would truly be gone once Link left Termina, it was just really beautiful to me.
