Why hasn't made an anime or movie about the Legend of Zelda an Co. I mean I can think of 3 reasons off the bat:

1.the screams of the fans are echoing across the world

2.Zelda needs to come out into the open for people who don't have t.v. consoles.

3.the amount of money they could make with a movie will be in the millions. Every fan in the world would want to watch and a ticket costs at least $5

then why haven't they made an anime or movie. What horrid mind is responsible for such a crime? Why doesn't anyone change his/her mind?

Any ideas?

What those 30 or so American episodes? First, i mean anime, or Japanese drawn and what about a movie. Also, the American episodes, I saw only the first one and i thought it was bad. Those the words didn't really help.

What I meant was, the reason they wouldn't make more is because of that 13 episode tv series. They've already tried a zelda tv series, and it failed miserably.

Also, a tv series would never satisfy the fans - Link and Zelda wouldn't be "right", and some people would have issues with them. Because they aren't technically given voices, we can interpret Link and Zelda however we like (particularly Link). A tv show would ruin all that - they would have defined personalities, and fans would be upset that Link and Zelda were different from how they thought they were.

Besides, what story could they tell that could be considered canon? Nintendo doesn't specialize in manga or anime: they make games. Anything made by a third party tends to be considered fanon, and fanon just doesn't get the same kind of respect or appreciation amongst the hardcores that canon does.

While I appreciate that an animated 90 minutes movie might be nice to watch at first glance, I still don't think it would properly render the full scope of any given LoZ game, nor mix in the appropriate amounts of seriousness and humour to give it the broad, epic feel we all love.

Also, "Excuuuuuuuse me princess."

Yeah. That american tv show was bad. But still, its open for thought. What does Nintendo need to do. Hire some animaters. It could happen i guess. Your reasons are sound. But if you look at it, yes an anime would suck, but a movie would be like a short Zelda game. I mean like an japanese drawong characters, not american.

You've got to remember that, with TLoZ games, Link is the player and vice versa. That's one of the main things that makes the series so attractive and personal to gamers. Creating a movie or anime based on the series would take that away.

Take, for instance, all the pairings. Some people like Link x Zelda/Malon/Ilia/etc. If somebody ends up loving Ilia, then Link loves Ilia. If somebody ends up loving Midna, then Link loves Midna. Forcing Link with another character in an anime or movie would ultimately destroy the individual Link/Player character that grows and develops during gameplay. In fact, giving him any sort of personality other than the one the player has would ultimately destroy the Link "image".

Ohh...
So not all the movie makers and game designers are greedy, excuse my language, bastards. I always thought those guys were after money. Either I was wrong, or Japanese people have different motives for making these things than other country's.
Thanks for clarifying tho.
