And he was there.
Zelda was standing in the courtyard of Hyrule Castle, watching the figure before her approach. He still had that childish look to his face, that ready smile, those warm blue eyes. Yet he had changed in the last couple of years. He was taller, more muscular. He walked across the yard with grace poise, elegance, and confidence. He reminded her of a cat, walking across the courtyard. He also had the stance of someone always prepared for the impossible. That was a surprise, for when she had last seen Link, he still looked awkward with his sword and shield. It just didn't suit him. Now he had the caring of an expert swords man.
Then, the Princess Zelda noticed the most strangest thing. He hero was blushing. Then an even more disturbing fact came to Zelda's attention. All the maids that there chores were out side in this very courtyard had stopped working and were starring, no, gawking at Link. Now, this shouldn't have bothered Link except, because of his isolation to the modern world, he wasn't used to the style of dress common the that era. The dresses were up tho the neck, yet there was an oval cutting, baring the smooth tops of their pearly white breasts. Zelda thought angrily, "How dare they embarass my hero? How dare they?" What had made her think that?
"Back to work," Zelda shouted out loud. The maids started, then continued with there tasks. Then Zelda could look upon the approaching Link with no worries.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And she was there.
Link was approaching the main courtyard with anticipation. This was the first time he would see Zelda in years. The thought struck him silly. Now, he would finally see her, and there she was, waiting for him, just as she had seen him leave all those years ago.
Zelda was almost as he remembered her tall, with that long hair, those deep eyes and that amazing smile that always stopped his heart. Yet there were subtle changes to her as well. Her hips had changed, and other things that even in his mind he would not mention. Also her lips were fuller, which was a observation that confused him. All in all, he realized that Zelda had lost her tomb boyishness and turned feminine. Surprisingly, Link realized he didn't mind.
Then he noticed the maids gawking at him, and he started to blush. Those dresses, in his opinion, were much to low for his comfort. It started feelings in him he couldn't even begin to understand. He decided to look at Zelda and just tried to ignore the maids. Then, because of hoe he decided to look only at her, he saw Zelda look around as if this was the first time she noticed the maids, the first time had strayed away from.....him!!! Link had a sudden urge to jump in the air and whoop out loud. There was no reason to it, but he wanted to. Link barely managed to suppress that sudden instinct but he did. The Zelda shouted, "Back to work," and all the maids scurried away. Then Link could watch his princess with no worries.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That night, when both Link and Zelda were in their separate bed rooms, each thought about their meeting that morning, about how brief it was, and how each had almost broken into tears when they had finally touched. But foremost that night, each thought, "What is happening to me?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He who shunted the light and who feasted on the bones of all things, felt that meeting in his soul and thought, with a cruel sneer on his face, "Now is my chance to destroy the land and make it my masters forever. And he shall praise me and give me my enemy's dead corpses for me to feast on."
And that cruel crazed laughter resounded threw the caves and both Zelda and Link Stirred in their sleep, fear in their hearts, even though they didn't know it, of the crazed monster who was about to make an appearance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know this is a work in progress, and it probably still needs a lot more, so edit me, criticize me, and complement me. I want to know what you think.

Also, if you like my work, I'll also start a female Link fanfic, like someone suggested.

Also, i don't like the title, so help me brain storm a new one. PLZ.

Um.. I don't mean to be rude, but your story is following the same plot I had for mine.

I understand, but the beginning is just too alike in certain ways. In this case if you want to use the beginning plot idea, reference me. Otherwise it is a form of plagarism. Oh... And we're equal when it comes to writing. Shouldn't say that you're better than anyone else. That about wraps it up for me.

I appreciate this. When I say I am better I write it with sarcasm. I don't really mean it. I hope you understand what I mean.y.

lol No hard feelings. Like I said, just say something to the effect like 'This story is based off of "Tears of an Angel" by Twilight Mistress.' Then I won't mind as much. Next time, though, I'd appreciate it if you didn't try using the same plot. For example, the other one that you wrote was original. Original ideas that are your own are the best ones, which is another reason why you shouldn't use other people's ideas.
