Hi!, Newb here

Hi there! The name's Saami. I'm an avid LoZ fan. I'm currently playing Wind Waker and I've played: Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Four Swords (Or FSA...I always get those mixed up), and Twilight Princess. I missed out on a lot of the hand held games because well...I just haven't bought them yet.

Anyway, as far as fandom goes: I am a fanficcer as well as a icon artist. I like shipping, it's fun for all. Currently, I only ship for OoT and Twilight Princess as they are my most active Zelda fandoms.

My Ships include:

OoT: Link/Malon (OTP!)
Twilight Princess: Link/Hena (I adore them) and Link/Zelda (I absolutely adore Zelda in Twilight Princess. She was just so regal and graceful!)

Some of my favorite characters include: Twilight Princess Zelda, Hena, Malon, Marin, The Happy Mask Salesman, Medli, and Renado.

I am a firm believer that there is no canon "evidence" placing any couple above another. I believe Miyamoto purposely left shipping ambiguous since technically the player is Link and would be able to pair Link up with any girl they wanted. And that's part of the reason I adore the Zelda series. Plus declaring any pairing canon over another may very well alienate a good portion of their fanbase. (I wouldn't budge though. I don't need canon proof to love a ship. Zuko/Yue from Avatar: The Last Airbender is proof enough of that.)

Speaking of Avatar, I am an Avatard. I love it so much. I participate in that fandom as well. Zuko x Yue and Aang x Katara are my favorite ships.

Ummm I love anime (Trigun and The Big O are my favorites). I squee and flail and rant. I have a livejournal (here), which I no longer use. And an insanejournal (here) which is my main journal. I rant a lot about fandom and how it makes me angry (or my complete and utter love for it) in my journal, since my life isn't exactly the best story to tell in the world. But anyway, feel free to friend me or whatever. I dun care. I also hang out at Diamond in the Rough, a Malink/General Zelda forum. I have the same username there.

Sorry, I'm just pleased to see another Avatar fan, lol. Though I have to say, Zuko/Yue? That couple never even occured to me. Then again, its just as preposterous as kataang

I'm sorry, that was mean. There is plenty of evidence for kataang (even if all from Aang's side - sorry, I currently don't see Katara with romantic feelings for Aang), but I'm just living up to the 'zutaraians are all such deluisonal and horrible mean people who deny every other ship while living in denial themselves' expectation so people have, lol.

Obviously I support Zutara, but I know it won't happen in the end. It will be Kataang, which I'm fine with as long as Katara shows (obvious) romantic feelings for Aang soon. Else I will hate that pairing, lol. But Zutara as friends is good enough for me

Anyway, back to Zelda, which is, afterall, the purpose of this forum, yes, Twilight Princess Zelda is the AWESOMEST! And LinkxZelda is pretty awesome too

Thanks for the welcome everyone. As soon as I find a place to jump in, I'll start posting . But I don't think my Zelda fics can be posted here.

EDIT: Aww I'll go ahead and post them. It's up to the reader's discretion to read them or not.

But I'll definitely post my icon work here.
