Avatar: The Last Airbender, ^_^

Does anyone else here watch this anime/cartoon? If so, let me know! I need to talk about it with people!

I wish the rest of season 3 would come out soon......

I've seen quite abit of it and i think i quite like it sometiems but Excel Saga will always best any anime =3

I quite like it most of the time too - sometimes the episodes are really bad (like season 3 episode 5 - I didn't like that one).

8 or so more episodes to go! Then it will be over

I watched a fair few episodes and I can say I do enjoy it. It's a nice fuse of western animation with influence of the east. I can't quite rate the plotline since I haven't really seen enough of it yet, but from what I have seen, it's definitely worthwhile.

Yeah, it is quite a good anime. Oh, occasionally they stuff up tiny bits of the animation, or randomly have a bad episode, but most of the time its really good. Its anime, but at the same time it's not. The characters aren't really anime in their design, but who cares? Its an awesome show!

I like Zuko

I used to watch this. A lot. I used to read and write fanfics and keep up on the info and join the discussion forums for it. Then came Crossroads of Destiny.

What can I say? I was a Zutara shipper to very core of my soul.

Anyways, the show itself was amazing - it was so well-paced and was able to touch deep emotional discourses without losing its lightness. I always liked that it interested people from all age groups, not just pre-teens.

Maybe I'll start watching it again at some point....

No offense to anyone who ships Kataang, but I don't particularly like that couple, simply because I don't see Katara showing any romantic feelings for Aang (sure, she kisses his cheek and stuff, but if she honestly liked him 'that way' she'd be too embarrassed to do stuff like that).

I support Zutara to the end, no matter what the odds!

For the longest time I avoided the show, I'm not really sure why (though I strongly suspect it has something to do with the really militant shippers. You know, the kind who would kill their own mothers for liking a different ship ). Anyway, I finally broke down and decided to watch the show, and now I'm an Avatard XD

Also, BOOK 3 EPISODE 14, WHY ARE YOU NOT YET OUT!?! *foams at the mouth*

It sucks, cause since I'm in Australia, they haven't shown any of season 3. I can only watch them on the internet

And don't worry, I'm not a militant shipper. I'd be really happy if my ship happened (zutarian all the way, lol), but I'm fine if they just end up friends and kataang happens (so long as there is kataang romance from katara's side ).

If you're scared of militant shippers though, avoid the zutara vs kataang battleground topic on the forums on tv.com. That gets ugly

I'm an Avatard. Have been since season 2. I adore Kataang. It's just so cute <3 But my all time favorite ship(s) are: Tokka (Sokka x Toph) and Zue (Zuko x Yue). The crack pairings are generally the best. <3

Gen fics? Just general stories then?

And as I said before, I never even thought of Zuko/Yue........then again, all the canon couples on the show happen in like 5 seconds, so all it would take would be one brief meeting and voila! A new couple would occur

And yes, Kataang is very cute. I just wish Katara would show romantic interest in Aang - so far I only see her viewing him as a little brother (the kisses on the cheek only confirm this - people generally don't go kissing their crushes until they actually admit their feelings, if you know what I mean). But yeah, if she made a move on Aang entirely on her own, I would be much happier with that couple.

And I'd melt if Zutara happened, but I'm happy with those two being friends (which has to happen soon, else Avatar defies all cartoon plots and logic, lol) and Kataang happening in the end (which is what will likely happen, so its a good thing I'm happy with it )

I can't really see Zutara happening during the course of the series. Maybe in some sort of epilogue, taking place years later. But with the bad blood between the two of them, I don't think Katara's going to be trusting Zuko any time soon.

I would like to see the two of them come to blows sometime in the future. There's nothing quite like beating the crap out of each other to get rid of the unresolved sexual tension skeletons in the closet

LOL! Yeah, they probably will come to blows. And then after that they will become friends! (which has to happen - we can't have two people on the same team hating each other. It just goes against the natural order of things )

And I know its unlikely, but that doesn't mean I can't hope that Zutara prevails in the end

As for crackships, I ship FoamZula - Foaming Mouth Guy on Kyoshi Island, and Azula. They fit each other quite well
