Crashing the Party (319 words) It was official. Dark hated computers. ‘Wham!’ went the keyboard against the desk. ‘Slam!’ went the tower against the floor. ‘Crash!’ went the screen as it was hurled across the room. ‘Crack!’ went the mouse as it dented the wall. The sound of things breaking was music to his ears. That would teach ‘em. Dark glared at his audience as she raised an unimpressed brow. Midna knew exactly how he’d react. She couldn’t have been taken short. After all, she had shown him the page with the knowing smirk of someone who found something both entertaining and improper. “It. Will. Never. Happen.” He didn’t know how else to drive his point home. “Why not?” Her smile was all pointed teeth and girlish amusement. “You seem to enjoy it in the picture.” “It’s a-- a--” He spluttered, so great was his indignation. “A blasphemy!” Midna giggled and trailed a finger down the side of his face. “Poor little shadow. All riled up because of a virtual picture.” “I would never--” The image swam before his eyes. He made a choked sound in his throat. “Eughrl.” She laughed. “Oh, Dark, I was getting hopeful you’d include me in your little games.” He glared at her so evilly a lesser woman would have recoiled. “It’s a fabrication. I would never.” She smacked her lips together then draped herself against him. “Pity. I would definitely have liked to include Link in our special moments. He’s a sight for sore eyes.” Possessively, the shadow glared and gripped the Twili by her supple waist, growling, “You’re mine, and I don’t like sharing.” She giggled and teased, “Well, if you ever feel the need to run off and enjoy some alone time with him, make sure to call me.” She left a peck on the tip of his nose and walked away as he simmered with pure anger. “… I don’t want to sleep with Link!”

Zelink Theme #16: Technology Title: A Conversation Using Cell Phones Words: 158
Link felt his concentration slip away. He didn’t understand a word of what the teach was saying. Geometry never was his best subject.
Silently, Link took his cell phone from the pocket of his jeans and sent Zelda a text message. Since his phone was no silent, the teacher didn’t notice.
From the back of the room, Zelda felt her phone vibrate. She saw that it was a message from Link, which read:
wassup, zel?
Zelda quietly sent a message back.
hi, link. not much, u?
bored 2 death.
well, u’ll never learn if u don’t pay attention.
easy 4 u 2 say. u’re at the top of the class.
*blush* thx, link. oh, we better stop texting.
*pout*
link, do u want detention?
ok, u win. ttyl.
same 2 u.
It was astonishing that the teacher, who was continuing to lecture the class, didn’t notice that Link and Zelda had been sending text messages to each other.

Title: Talk Nerdy to Me Theme: Technology Wordcount: 187 Genre: Humour Setting: AU Rating: PG
Link knew he should be paying attention to what Zelda was saying, but he just couldn't help his mind from wandering. Sure, he would probably kick himself later when his network crashed and he had no idea as to how to fix it, but for the time being he was more than content to watch Zelda talk. She was saying something about routers and ISP renewals, but the manner in which she was explaining everything was very... enticing. "Link, are you listening to anything I'm saying?" Her reprimand broke through his daze, and Link grinned up at her roguishly. "Yes, because I love it when you talk nerdy to me," Zelda quirked an eyebrow at him, "You know, you may have a large hard drive," she said, innuendo dripping off of every syllable, "But it's all worthless unless you have the RAM to back it up. Now, as I was saying..." But Link was already lost in a soft-focus fantasy world. But even though he had no idea how to set up a network, he knew enough to use the Sound Recorder. For future reference, of course.
