Prologue.
(This is my version of OoT ending. I'm sorry if it doesn't seem right.)

Warily, Link stood up using his Master Sword as a support. Princess Zelda rushed to his aide, taking out a handkerchief to dab at the blood that ran from his head wound. “You did well, Hero of Time. I’m so proud of you Link.” Zelda smiled warmly. Link glanced up at her, “Of course I would. Princess, I will serve you whenever and wherever and no matter how it must be done.” He said, with a slight pant to his voice. Zelda looked over his wounds, noting the splotches of blood and the tears in his tunic. She frowned, her eyes brimming with concern and sadness. “I’m sorry Link. I’m so sorry.” She whispered softly to him.

Link was surprised and asked “What for, Princess?” Then he noticed she was staring at his wounds.Hastily, he stood upright despite the pain in his ribs. “I’m all right, Princess Zelda! None of it is your vault; I chose to come onto this task. If I get a bit injured in the process then that’s my own clumsiness.” He tried to reassure her with a cheerful smile. But it did not lift the weight of responsibility from the Princess’s shoulders. Instead she removed the Ocarina from his hands. “Princess?”

“Link,” Zelda began, “Put the master sword back into it’s stone.” Link was confused, “What for?”She gave him a weak smile, “Please do it.” Wordlessly the hero of time embedded the sword back into its place. Link returned to stand in front of the Princess of Hyrule.

“I am sorry Link. I have made you go through countless dangers, and you in turn gained many wounds. So, I will send you back from where you came, seven years into the past. There will be no King of Evil and you will not have to endure the pain.” Zelda adjusted the ocarina into both of her hands, as if to play.
“But Princess!” Link started, “I- I!” Zelda smiled at him, “You will have a childhood again, one without blood and death, one that did not force you to grow up so fast. And you will forget everything that has happened. I bid you farewell, my Hero of Time.” And with that she brought the ocarina to her lips began to play a tune. A bright, white light engulfed them.

“PRINCESS! ZELDA WAIT!” Link shouted but she did not hear him. He reached for her but could not reach her, the light of white and now blue swirled around him. Then he was falling. “Zelda, no! I…I love you!!” And he fell into darkness.
Link didn't hear her say, "I love you too."
