I said yes, it's very hard to get me angry.

One thing about kids, it's a weird learning experience. It may make you look old, but watching people learn, progress, and grow up is one of the amazing events in life. I wouldn't want to miss out on that...

Well, I suppose it would be a yes, but it's kind of by default: I'm 5 months pregnant at the moment. Just out of curiousity, is there any other parents here?

I think it'll be neat to have someone who looks up to you, and someone who loves you unconditionally. And it would keep you young as some say...kids have alot of life in them.

Congratulations gliderpilotgirl! ='D

I'll have kids if anyone bothers to marry me. XD (All I can say is good luck to the man who is willing to deal with me.) I always love watching families while I sit in church and see little kids giggle at their feet. And I always see the happiness parents receive with children--it'd be nice to have that happiness at some point in my life. happy.gif

...But that's in the future--I'm too young. XD

Congrats gliderpilotgirl.

I voted no. I don't like kids. Plain and simple.

Funny thing is, all the small children in my family tend to gravitate toward me.

I'm with Saami; I'm not too fond of kids. They're like condensed containers of all that I hate about humanity: loud, obnoxious, attention-seeking, unintelligent, messy and self-centered. Sure, there are decent kids out there, but most of them have less common sense and consideration for others than a hunk of driftwood. My knee-jerk reaction upon seeing a child is to punt it.

That being said, I might maybe possibly one day want a wretched hell spawn, but that's not going to be for a good decade or two.

Woww... that's a lot to say about kids. But, you know, some kids become undecent because of their parents!!! You probably don't do babysitting, do you???

I personally, don't know if I want kids, because, well, it's hard. When you have a child, you open your eyes to the real world, and the real world can be full of diapers, sleepless-nights, crying, cleaning, more diapers, and all that stuff. But, in the end, it might be all worth it. I know I shouldn't say this, but, having and raising kids is somewhat a gamble and a game... unsure.gif

Yes. In a way it could be...it all depends on the parents and friends. I voted maybe.

Now that I have a two week old daughter, I think a new reply to this question is in order.

Absolutely yes. I couldn't imagine going backwards and I wouldn't want a life without her. I've spent many hours feeding her ( in the middle of the night too) changing, bathing, etc...but holding that chubby little person who is looking up at you with huge blue eyes is the most rewarding thing in the whole world.

That's not to say the crying doesn't irritate me, enough sometimes I tell my husband to deal with her and I go for a walk. ( As he disappears for hours too ) It's just worth it.

Congradulations!

That just got me thinking again about how our own parents managed to handle it all. Without technology and all...
