Is there hope for Link and Princess Zelda's Love?, PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

No, she didn't appear in any other games. I personally think that it should, and always, be zelink. There's hope in TP, you just have to look hard and analyze everything.

I have been analyzing everything, but the thing is, I'm always looking at others' perspectives, because I don't have the game(TP)! If there's anything major about Zelink that's just been discovered, than I'd like to know about it.

Well, here's a spoiler sorry, Zelda sacrifices herself to save Midna, their hearts were as one, however briefly. Some people have realized that when they are as one, that means that Zelda can feel Midna's feelings "such suffering you have endured." That means that if Midna loved Link, then Zelda would feel that too and she would have also gotten to know him. Also, there's the thing about how animals can sense a person's personality. Wolf Link growled at Zelda, but when she turned, he imediately stopped and went to her like a puppy. Midna rolled her eyes and smiled. Link also holds out his hand when Zelda asks for his power "Lend us the last of your power." She bows and then link holds out his hand. Zelda takes it then it goes to the fight scene. those are just the obvious things, if you look between the lines, and under them, you can find more.

Thanks. I already saw all those things on youtube already, and the one part when Midna roles her eyes and smiles, I didn't quite get that. But now, I think it's supposed to mean that Midna already saw something happening between Link and Zelda. Am I corect???

PS: Some parts are a bit overexagerated in this video... But it's still a great clip for Zelink fans ... The visuals are one of the best parts.

I'm happy that it was more of a "hear we go again" type of behavior then a... well... It's actually the only thing that makes sense to me.

Yeah, the only other thing I can think of is "I'm crazy for cocoa puffs." Just kidding yeah...I really don't know...maybe she's dizzy rom riding link or maybe...she thought "another anoying Hylian moment..." I really don't know.

Cocoa Puffs??? Personally, I prefer Fruit Loops and Cheerios. lol

Yeah, I like Lucky chams and friut loops, I used to like cheerios, but one day I threw up so know it's a bad memory. Anyway, I really don't know what else it would be.

It depends on your perspective. In all honesty, I think this was one of the worst games for Zelink when you compare it up against for instance WW or OoT. Zelda was kind of a side character in TP, involved in critical moments but nowhere near the "leading lady", especially in matters of the heart.
I do agree that Link showed some attraction her direction but a) she's absolutely beautiful and b ) it was never developed on.

I sure hope TP isn't their final decision, cause IMO, it's not a good one for us Zelinkers. I do agree that the older teen thing came into play..Link had spent his whole life growing up with Ilia ( a Saria/Malon ) so to see that turn into love was no shock to me, more a disappointment that they focused on it. This Link had never met Zelda either and she was a distant stranger. So, I truly think that for someone that wanted and prefers to see a Malon/Saria type relationship, this was their game. Ilia had no competition growing up with him and it was pretty much the perfect situation for a relationship like that to bloom.

Yeah, but I try not to think about Illia/Link. It's way too obvious for this random non-chicky chick to be in love with Link, and for Link to feel the same way. So, for the sake of keeping the Zelink theory alive, I do my best to ignore Illia.

So now, about Midna. She is not even human!!! She might like him a lot, since they spent over a month together, but I hope Link keeps in mind that she's not his type, especially if he likes to be thought of as "the man". When I say that, I mean to say that she looks more superior than he does, and she's taller than him! Now, I know that there's nothing to be ashamed of if a girl is taller than you, but people still feel that way. Link is probably not the type of guy who feels that way, but you never know.

I also hope that TP is not their final decision, either. Because, if the decision affects us Zelink fans in a negative way, I'll be so mad!!!


PS: Yeah, Zelda is absolutely gorgeous, compared to Illia and the imp-like creature form of Midna. But, I have to admit, she looks pretty in her normal form as a human-like princess (except for the fact that she's really blue.)

Really? When did Nintendo state that?

I think the statement by Nintendo only means Illia and Midna are the more likely love interests than TP Zelda. TP Link has no close friendship with Zelda remember?? So Illia and Midna are the only love interests in TP that Link has a foundation to realistically build on relationship wise.

How do you know for sure that there isn't a connection between Link and Zelda? You don't. I mean, there's obviously SOMETHING there between them besided formality/friendship. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there. Besides that, you stated before that you actually shipped Zelink in TP; really funny how you show that. IMO, the Zelink relationship is in all of the games, being that they're really just different versions of the same story (mind you, some of them taper off and become sequels).

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with the lack of ZeLink in TP. But the fact remains, Link and Zelda didn't have that kind of time to build a relationship like he had with Ilia with whom he grew up with and Midna with whom he spent (theoretically) months with. He saw her three times in the whole game, two of which he was in wolf form. Sure he may have been attracted to her, but that's not enough to honestly say he's 'omg so in love with Zelda'.

I am a multi-shipper and I think TP really confirmed my belief that every Link doesn't have to be paired with every Zelda. I just don't think it's reasonable, to be honest. Fate has a hand in their lives to an extent. After they've fulfilled their obligations to Hyrule, I believe they are free to do whatever they please. Whether that means they stay together or go their separate ways, I believe is entirely up to them. Not the Goddesses, fate, Ganondorf, that beggar guy in the marketplace.

With all of that said, Link had Ilia. He obviously cared for her very deeply. And I think there's a chance he returned to her. I mean that connection they had was something special and deep. And I don't think he'd cast that aside for someone he barely knows re: Zelda.
