Is there hope for Link and Princess Zelda's Love?, PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

I am worried about it... I have heard that

I don't find that information very legit. In the past Zelda games, Zelda does play a huge part in the story dispite the fact she dosen't get alot of screen time. For example, in most of the games, Zelda did endanger herself for the sake of the liberty for her Kingdom, the Triforce and to guide Link for Hyrule from Ganon.

I have the game, and I'm close to halfway done. (scroll down for maybe spoilers, but I don't think they are)















So far, Link and Zelda are strangers. There's practically NO interaction between them. In fact, she hasn't even seen him in his human form yet.

I absolutely LOVE the game, but I'm really dissappointed with the huge lack of Link and Zelda interaction. Despite all of what Aonuma said too... hopefully something will happen between them eventually.

Yea that's what I heard! That is so annoying! Hopefully later in the game . . .

I'm also really disappointed with the lack of Link x Zelda interaction. There's more to suggest Link x Ilia in Twilight Princess than Link x Zelda so far.

Yeah, there's been FAR too many Link/Ilia hints for my comfort. It makes me so angry, especially because I simply don't like Ilia!!

No one really knows if Link and Zelda really get together do they? (As of right now...) That's all I want to know! Nothing else! Just a simple yes or no question... "Do Link and Zelda end up together in Twilight Princess?"

I don't want some random chick named Ilia coming in and stealing Link away from Zelda! That's soooo absurd! (Sorry, Ilia lovers. ^^; )

But the only hope we have is this little interview, huh?

"Interviewer: We have received several emails in which our readers ask: Will Zelda and Link ever be involved [romantically]? [laughs] I’m sorry, but we had to ask.

I own a wii and I beat the game yesterady... So, there's major spoilers down below!! DON'T READ IT!

~~~~~There's a scene I really hate at the end when Midna is leaving. Zelda and Link are standing side by side, but as Midnda takes off, Link gets this scared look on his face and is like "NOO!!", then he reaches out his hand as if to save it, and runs off from Zelda, leaving her like dirt. He's more worried about Ilia and Midna in this whole damn game! There's no romance whatsoever! And what sucks is that you actually have to fight Zelda and HARM HER!! Well, I don't think it sucks that bad, because I found it as a "Zelda truly is strong" but my "Link don't do it!" side was sad~~~

Just a little bit sidetracked from the main topic here, but I wouldn't trust Wikipedia, guys. Anyone can edit it and not use legitimate sources, make ficticious points, or twist the logic. Wikipedia maybe full of bad people, so let's not use that as our number one source, okay?

*Sigh* Yea I don't have the game either, I'm getting it for Christmas . . . but I'm just so annoyed right now! Come on! Why?!

***SPOILERS (not very detailed)***


Yeah, he does run over to Midna, but only because he had thought she was dead. The whole Link and Midna thing is complicated... Midna obviously grows to love Link (and it's really awesome to watch her change like that), but I think Link ony cares about her in return. They're too different... and their love would be impossible anyway. I'd support Link/Midna over Link/Ilia any day, but I hope I never have to. ZELINK PLEASE!!

Link does care about Ilia, but really, the only thing binding them together is their childhood. They were friends, so what? Ilia was much more forward than he was, you could totally view their "relationship" as one sided if you want. Link and Zelda still share the same destiny, and they still have that bond through the Triforce. That's way more than he and Ilia share. And he's a warrior now; he's not the ranch boy Ilia knew him to be anymore.

Zelda is such an AWESOME character in the game- she's so strong and beautiful and self-less... too bad she never SHOWS UP. ARGH!! She and Link do some way cool stuff in the end, but they still don't know each other very well at all. Of course, you don't know what happens between the two of them after the game, so that's where the fandom can come in. Hopefully, more people will still want Zelink.
